Interesting. I just got a response for a quote from State Farm stating that they require descriptions AND serial numbers to insure firearms. :?

My current company only wants make/model and replacement cost and I'm not comfortable with that. Might have to suck it up though.

Re: FFL for transfer in/near Buffalo

Don't know what they charge anymore but he could try H&H in Maple Lake. http://www.hhsportshop.com/ The only problem I had with them is that they would not accept a firearms from a non-FFL. Neither would Bison Arms for that matter. Another option would be Riverside Sporting Gear. He is actually ...

Re: Another Strad Longshot..... WTB Arisaka Type 99 parts.

Sorry. I got nothing for you. I had a hard time finding a safety knob for mine locally (or anywhere for that matter) so I ended up buying one from Liberty Tree. It dropped right in and functions perfectly.

Re: 3-gun on June 16th

I liked the rifle clay holders. Neat little change-up, especially at SCAPSA where the range is limited. Our squad had zero issues with them although nobody had anything bigger than .223. I'd like a couple myself but my home range frowns on shooting steel, especially with rifles. As much as I dislik...

Re: 3-gun on June 16th

I'm not positive that SCAPSA will allow #6 shot. It used to be no bigger than 7.5.

Re: 3-gun on June 16th

Slings are not necessary nor are they disallowed. Can get hung up on stuff though. Most people don't use them. No minimum barrel lenght for rifle. I've seen SBR's before. Don't know about AR pistols if that's what you're asking. Never seen one at a match. Somebody from MN3gun group would have to mak...

Re: Polish Plate Rack

I've shot it at that very same annual charity revolver match down in Memphis in the video. Jerry makes it look easy (surprise, surprise) but it's not actually that difficult IF you can keep it from spinning. For us mere mortals with a revolver the idea is to try and leave the two outside plates so ...
