Re: Shooting Muzzleloader Projectiles Out of a Revolver?

Same diameter. Same weight same length the only differences might be bearing surface and hardness.

BTW. I have shot a few thousand gas checked .358 lead bullets meant for a .35 rem out of a .357 Dan Wesson.

Re: How to handle an out of state handgun transfer?

I take USPS money orders. So far they have proven to be the securest form I know. There are some FFL's who will us USPS for good customers to ship to FFLs at very reasonable costs. Mine does it for ten bucks over the actual costs. Get the prepaid shipping boxes from the USPS overnight bin and have i...

Re: Want to borrow .380 handgun

The wife has decided she wants to pursue a carry permit and is looking to try a .380 or two to find out if she likes the round at all. Ideally I'm looking for a Ruger LCP but am open to just about anything. I can meet any time, any reasonable distance on Friday or Saturday either at the gun show or...

Re: I-394 shut down in Minnetonka after shots reported

Is HIPPA an issue if you are dead? Yes, it is. A big one. Is HIPPA an issue if you're a cop, or a private citizen who just happens to know stuff? IOW, who is bound by HIPPA rules? Nope. HIPAA only applies to People who are legally responsible for the data or information they obtain in the performan...

Re: Sad day...

Ok. 742's in good shape are easy to find. Find one and but all of granddads stuff (stock, forearm, scope, etc) on it. Then it's like " this is gramps axe, but I've replaced the head twice and the handle three times. " sorta thing.

Re: Barsto or Lonewolf

The factory barrel might, repeat might, have issues with shooting hardcast bullets from reloads.

I wouldn't waste a barsto on a Glock. I have a couple of proper guns with barsto's in them, I would recommend them to all.

Re: Fundraiser at restaurants to help Uptown fire survivor

Alex is a bike rider, goes about 5'8'' 150 or less. His burns are miraculously only on his legs and chest, and healing very well. The rubble that fell on him acted as an insulator. If you saw him standing there, you would not know he was in a fire two weeks ago. He is still dealing mostly with his l...

Re: Class III info?

A firearms trust is a wonderful thing. Trust me. Google it How would that help this situation in MN? Even with an NFA trust it would be illegal for a MN citizen that isn't a qualified FFL to buy and posess NFA firearms that aren't considered C&R. . Ahh. A trust is federal entity. Even if it's r...
