Ok thanks all. Maybe this is just something I’ve never noticed before. Gotta decide optics for it and I’m ready to rock.

Re: Building an Aero Precision 308 from parts

So gas tubes and buffer tubes are the same?
Sorry, I misread it. Oops. I was tired. For buffers, I don't know exactly. Aero offers different kits for AR15 vs AR308. I'm not expert enough to know whether some are interchangeable though. BB
I’m using all aero parts so ill just give the...

Re: Aero enhanced upper gas tube question

Maybey I'm misunderstanding. The gas tube should have two holes in it on the side that interfaces with gas block. One is for the gas port. The other is where it's pinned in place to the gas block. Re: Building an Aero Precision 308 from parts

So is the 308 carbine buffer tube the same as a carbine ar15 tube? BB & HH, you guys seem to have gas on your mind. Flatulence problems lately? TommyMN, there are multiple sizes, but one can use the same size buffer tube on an AR15 as an AR10. Because the BCG is longer for some long-frame ARs, ...

Re: Building an Aero Precision 308 from parts

So is the 308 carbine buffer tube the same as a carbine ar15 tube? In my research I don't think I ever saw a distinction between AR15 and AR10 (308) gas tubes. In fact, the Aero gas tube product page says: "Stainless Steel Gas Tube for AR15 & AR10 rifles". BB So gas tubes and buffer t...
