Re: New Buy/Sell MNguns Discord Server

Wow 10 years to get to 2nd post. Stick around! How about this instead. Your old forum buddy Bessy With many hundreds of Posts has put up a discord server. Where everyone from MN can go to talk about guns/reloading/etc. This was originally created just for the reddit community MnGuns but I’d like to...

Re: I'm back (total nube, I know) Die problem?

I use home made Isopropyl/Lanolin mix to lube everything I load that needs lubing, ranging from 30 Carbine to 50 BMG. I use a 12/1 mix of 99% Isopropyl Alcohol/ Lanolin Oil. My final cost runs approx. $.50 an ounce. I use a lot, mainly because the majority of my reloading is 50 BMG. Just be sure to ...

Re: General Ammo Talk...

Going to someone like Oldman and having him teach you probably will save a lot of time and frustration as well. Best suggestion I've heard. I've got all your cartridge needs covered with components for most. 300PRC is not covered. I teach for free - best way to learn whether 1 hour or 11 hours as s...

Re: First Wednesday Lunch - Nov 4th

Sorry I can't help organize this one. I'm in the hospital (hopefully out on Monday) but I'll be grounded for a few more weeks.

The last time I checked 98 pounds buffet, they were open, but only for take-out. That was back in Sept.

I hope you guys have a great lunch.

Re: Dull sticky brass after wet tumbling (?)

I suggest adding a little extra Dawn for really dirty brass. I let "really dirty brass" tumble for 3-4 hrs, then drain and rinse in cold water. I then dump the wet brass into a large towel and roll them around inside the towel to buff off some of the water. I then put mine into a dehydrato...

Re: The violence extended to the suburbs.

We're prepared for their arrival into the suburbs. I don't believe they will want to stay very long BLM Enters Suburbs.jpg As I recall, you don't live too far from where that shooting occurred. It appears Edina may not be completely prepared, yet. The shooting at Fairview Southdale was 1/2 mile fro...

Re: Afton considers limits on residents’ excessive gunfire

My neighbors lose it when I clean my 50 BMG Rifle out on my front driveway. I have to do it outside, due to the fact I'm using aqueous ammonia 29% that has to be used outside, and with me staying upwind. I cannot do it on my back deck, because it's made of composites, and I don't want to stain, nor ...

Re: 1st Wed Lunch is Here

I'll make sure we get a Large table, but let's not plan on any entertainment. We need our full appetites

I'll do my best, to not flake out and miss this one.
