Re: Off-Duty Cop Shoots 2 in Parking Lot After MLB Game

I hope the officer recovers fully. As for the other two.... I couldn't care less. But I wonder if it was enough to teach them a lesson.

Re: Had A Little Luck This Morning

Nice job! What set up did you use? I had been trying a new B-Mobile full strut tom decoy earlier in the morning (along with two hen decoys). I seen two toms come out across the field, but didn't look too interested in coming any closer to the decoys. A bit later another tom (or one of the two) came...

Re: 20/20 4/10/2009

Their biased tests really irked me! I mean how slanted could they make it? They had a trained shooter who knew there was going to be someone else with a gun in those rooms. Then they make the students put on a tshirt cover garment and pull it down half way to their knees. Why not a more realistic te...

Re: optics for turkey gun

Regardless of choke, make sure to try a Federal load with the FliteControl wad. It had the tightest pattern of the loads I had tried.

Re: optics for turkey gun

I had picked up a Mossberg 835 Grand Slam a few years ago and even with the rear sight as low as it would go, it would still shoot high. So I mounted a Bushnell red dot that I had used on a .22 pistol on it so I could adjust the sight. It works fine. Put a fresh battery in before the season and you ...
