Re: Sig Sauer X5 - Competition or Level 1?

Had a big range day planned up north, but had to cancel due to rain :x So had to settle for the local indoor range. This is easily my favorite gun. I only put 100 rounds through it, but my goodness it is fun. It kicks like a 22, and is insanely accurate. I was having trouble seeing my tiny targets a...

Re: WTB - 9mm Ammo

Thanks for the tips. I went out to Woodbury and picked up 5 boxes of the Federal stuff, and a 550 pack of the Federal .22 ammo. The Wal-Mart by where I work has plenty of WWB 9mm, but I will not be buying that stuff anymore, after my experience at the range last time. I discovered a source for my JH...

Re: Sig Sauer X5 - Competition or Level 1?

Got my X5 yesterday, wow! This thing is superbly crafted - fit and finish it top notch, and its buttery smooth. I can't wait to see what this thing will do :D

WTB - 9mm Ammo

I am going "up north" this weekend for a full day of shooting. I want to run several hundred rounds through each of my handguns, but don't have enough onhand, and would prefer to not have to run all over town to stock up. Anybody have a bunch they want to sell? Not interested in WWB, my Ka...

Springer Precision Springfield XD Trigger Bar

I bought this for my XD-40 Subcompact, fitted and installed it, then switched over to 9mm. It fits my 40 and my step-dad's 40 perfectly, but not quite in the 9mm, needs some additional fitting, and the reset part has more taken off than needed. There must be some slight differences. These go for $60...

Sig Sauer X5 - Competition or Level 1?

I decided that I am going to pick up a Sig X5. Probably not for competition, but more as a "toy" and because I think they are exquisite pieces. I've been looking for something ever since I sold my Springfield EMP. I know that the difference between the two is the wood Nill grips and adjust...

750 Rounds of Once-Fired Brass - 40 S&W

I have 15 boxes of once-fired 40 S&W brass sitting in my closet taking up space. I didn't check to make sure every box was 100% full, but they should be, so its right around 750 rounds. Some American Eagle, mostly Blazer Brass.

Make me an offer, would be open to 9mm ammo in trade.

Re: Hello from St. Paul!

I am having trouble figuring out how to automatically subscribe to threads that I post or respond to. Is there a setting I can change so that I am automatically subscribed?

I do, actually! I bike to work a couple times a week and a portion of my ride is on the Gateway Trail.

Hello from St. Paul!

I'd like to say hello to everyone with my first post - the name's Aaron. I live in St. Paul - graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Recently rediscovered my childhood hobbies of fishing, hunting and shooting, so I have been loving the outdoors all over ...
