Re: Minnesota Sets New Record For Issuing Permits To Carry Guns

Unless I missed it, I didn't see a breakdown in renewals vs. new permits in the report summary at the beginning. However when you go to the breakdown by county report there is. Compared to the more rural counties, the counties containing the Twin Cities and suburbs seem to have had significantly mor...

Re: demographics of shootings upswing

You could count the shootings in the major gang active cities vs. everywhere else. Probably not real accurate but maybe a start.

Re: Louisiana’s Democrat Gov. Vetoes Constitutional Carry

I grew up in Louisiana. Graduated from HS in 1970. It was an open carry state then, and still is today. I remember a front page newspaper story with a picture of a local lawyer wearing his pearl handle revolvers in a double holster. When asked why he said “because he could.”

Re: Texans can carry handguns without a license or training

I doubt reciprocity changed and MN permits where never on thier list. If you have dual (MN and FL) you're good to go. This could possibly change, but not without a fight on our end though. If the portion of our law that is being challenged right now, prohibiting 18-20 year old carry is struck down ...

Re: Want to bet?

It is not a fool proof conclusion as there are time limitations I think, but when you donate blood the Red Cross is doing antibody checks. I believe they have found an application for the use of blood components containing antibodies. I gave in Aug and in Dec and did not have the antibodies while ex...

Re: Ghost-Gun Company Raided by Federal Agents;

“The probe focuses on Polymer80's "Buy Build Shoot Kit," which includes the parts to build a "ghost" handgun.”

This raid seems to be about a handgun kit. I know I’m not real knowledgeable, but I’ve never heard of an 80% lower except in reference to a rifle

Tapatalk and Login

It seems like after I do an IOS update on my apple products I start getting the notice again that the forum has a Tapatalk option. I prefer not to use it, hit cancel, fill in my login info, select log me in automatically next time and select login. If I Remember correctly that always eliminated the ...

Re: There’s Just One NRA A-Rated Democrat Left In Congress

So what do you propose? Vote for Democrats? I don't have a solution; it just sucks. I agree with that. For me, this post sounds like whining against Trump. And since you brought it up, where did I say he was pro-gun. I said we needed to vote for him for the good he has done and to help give time fo...

Re: There’s Just One NRA A-Rated Democrat Left In Congress

I’m sorry. I can’t understand the whining about Trump. By far he has done things that no republican president has done that has made things better since Reagan. Do you complainers want a Harris-Biden administration, oops a Biden-Harris administration? You need to support Trump not just because he is...

Re: Pelosi Security Points Gun at Trump Supporters
depends on what you are comparing does it not? Both include pointing a gun at something you do not intend to shoot.
I guess my perception is differe...

Re: Pelosi Security Points Gun at Trump Supporters

Agree, the outrage is not founded. You have no idea if the guy had his finger even close to the trigger. I think you are right that it is pretty common to Glass the crowd using the high power optic you have in front of you. I'm no sniper, but I do that in the deer stand. If someone happened to be w...
