I have carried a Sig for a number of years as a duty weapon, and think they are great guns. I have not shot a Taurus 1911, but in my opinion if you are going to get a 1911 you should hold out for a Kimber or something similar. Of the three you have listed, I would go with the Sig... best quality gun...
