Re: Reloading in 2020

Otherwise where do I put my order in with you for 9mm at $5 per box? 1) Approximately $5/box is my price for components, importantly not including brass, which I view as free since I pick up more after any given match than I shot in the match, and would include zero profit for me. If you want 9mm f...

Re: Reloading in 2020

I’m sure it’s fairly impossible to turn out 9mm as cheap as you can currently buy it You'd have to be buying it for less than $5/box to beat the $0.10/round I reload it for. Admittedly I haven't been shooting as long as many, but I don't think I've ever seen even the worst steel case 9mm for that l...

Re: Reloading in 2020

There's a few other options out there now, but when I started I narrowed my choices down to the Hornady and the Dillon 650. I wanted 5 stations so I could run a RCBS lockout die to protect against squibs. I decided I wasn't interested in the cost and noise of a case feeder and that pushed me in the...

Re: ACTION: MN Anti-Gun Legislation

I have informed my representative that his voting record over the last few years on gun issues has made it impossible for me to do other than vote against him even if I disagree with the person who opposes him this fall on every other issue. He has ignored all input I've previously given him on the ...

Re: Minnesota: Hearing on Pro- and Anti-Gun Bills Scheduled

First, would someone explain to me exactly how Senate File 72 would change the current laws on self-defense and justifiable force. I am not a lawyer, but the big change I see with SF 72 is that it appears to remove the duty to retreat. https://www.revisor.mn.gov/bills/text.php?v...

Re: Police have arrested this felon four times in four months

How many times does one need to be arrested while out on bail for other charges before judges start saying it's enough and deny bail? Seems kind of ridiculous to keep letting this guy back out on the street, but what do I know?

Re: P320

FYI It's illegal to sell an item that has been recalled and it opens you up to liability. https://www.consumerreports.org/recalls/dont-sell-recalled-products-at-yard-sale/ I would challenge that statement. Especially since SIG termed it a "voluntary upgrade" rather than a recall. Semantic...

Re: First person charged under Florida 'red flag' law found guil

I'm confused about how the authorities would need a red flag law in order to confiscate weapons from someone who was at the time charged with attempted murder.

Re: 423 Million guns in America

This is the forum that when the news reports he had a dozen guns and several hundred rounds of ammo, we take up a collection because we can't understand how he got down to such a pitiful amount. So if I say that there are only 6 guns under my roof, does the forum buy me 7 more just to get me above ...

Re: George Zimmerman sues family of Trayvon Martin, publisher...

If they can prove that, then Martin's family, the prosecutors, and the state of FL are in for a world of hurt. Fabricating witnesses and hiding evidence that would have meant Martin would never have stood trial is probably criminally actionable in addition to whatever judgment comes from the civil s...

Re: Trap prices

What does your club charge for a round of trap both member and non member? Working on our pricing and up against the "why do we need to charge more" crowd - can not convince them a new PAT Trap is $10000 or better and $3.00 a round is not putting anything aside for Replacement I thought i...

Re: Dem in Virginia working on gun confiscating Gov Says

Surely a flat ban on semi-automatics would get appealed to the SCOTUS with an excellent chance of being struck down? What color is the sky in your world? The color where a flat ban on semi-auto guns is in direct contradiction to the Heller decision ("common use"), and would therefore have...
