How many rounds through a handgun per range session?

I've been usually firing 100 or 150 rounds each firearm per range session. I start with my Taurus 66 .357 mag revolver. I usually fire half a box, then half a box of .38 special through my Taurus 85, then half a box of 9mm in my Kahr CW9. Repeat till out of ammo. I don't do any crazy rapid fire, but...

Taurus 85 light primer strike

Hello, Any other Taurus owners on the board? I've got a Taurus 85 that will sometimes give light primer strikes when firing in double action. Single action always fires. I can send back to Taurus but they want me to pay $35 shipping. Anyone else run into this issue with their Taurus? Gun seems decen...

Savage Axis .223 - magazine falls out when firing

I bought a Savage Axis XP in .223. When I fire it the magazine seems to become disconnected so when I operate the bolt a new round doesn't feed. I am new to rifles. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with their Axis?

.357 Berry's plated 158 Gr - Unique load?

Hello, Relatively new reloader here. My first "regular" plinking load has been 3.5 gr Bullseye in 38 Spl cases with the Berry's 158 gr. plated FP. I was going to try to find a nice plinking load for .357 cases. My Speer manual has their lead 158 gr bullet with 5.5-6.0 gr of Unique, and the...

WTT 1# Titewad powder for 1# pistol powder or .22lr + cash

I mistakenly bought Titewad, thinking it was Titegroup. I do not reload shotshells so I was hoping to trade for a pound of Bullseye, Unique, or similar + $10. Would also be interested in Federal Automatch .22lr or other bulk LRN .22 ammo + cash as appropriate. Can meet in Minneapolis/St. Paul within...

HSM Bullets

Some time ago, I bought some 125 gr plated HSM bullets to load for .38 plinking purposes. Was finally getting around to it and was looking for load data. Found some here: http://www.thehuntingshack.com/catalog/retail/Load%20Data%20Plated%20and%20Cast%20bullets.pdf HSM recommends the identical starti...

Re: Anyone reload .25 ACP?

Here are some pictures I tried to take of the firearm. I'm not really familiar with blowback guns, so my terminology might be wrong: The barrel and the frame are joined to form the "feed ramp", whereas I'm familiar with a short recoil operated mechanism, where the feed ramp is part of the ...

Re: Anyone reload .25 ACP?

Thanks both of you. I unfortunately can't use the aluminum cased ammo at the indoor range where I shoot. I found some PMC locally at Frontiersman but I didn't pick up a box, as it seemed to be similar in length to the S&B ammo (plus it was a bit more expensive than Aguila). I did replace the rec...

Anyone reload .25 ACP?

Does anyone load .25 ACP? I've got a 1914 Mauser Pocket Pistol that is consistently having failures to feed. I had initially tried replacing the recoil spring and had gotten a new aftermarket magazine, but still had the problem. Finally tried switching ammo up. Sellier and Belloit ammo is .9" O...
