Re: Vaquero 4.62 vs 5.5

Rule of thumb in SASS is older you are the longer the barrel of your pistol or rifle. It's the waning eye that decides what length you need.

I agree, in my Savage bolt action slug rifle I found the Hornady's and Remington Accutip to be the most accurate, but ...

Best 12 gauge slug rounds

I maybe using a slug gun this season. Since I have never hunted with a shotgun, I need advice about which shells to use. I will be using a scoped rifled 12 gauge semi auto with 3" chamber. Basically, something consistent out to 100yds. Thanks in advance for all the Knowledge.

Re: A good outcome for this Temple University Studen

I have to say, he should have given the assailant the money. The outcome could have been worse and innocent bystander could have been hurt. While I do not know what truly occurred, if one's life is not in danger, what is in your wallet isn't worth engaging in a fight. But obviously, I wasn't there ...

Re: Problem with my new (to me) Springfield Mil-Spec 1911

Wild bunch guns can not have full length guide rods. Wolf springs are always a good idea. However, if the springs are so worn, the gun may have lots of rounds through it. Get it checked out.

Re: Beretta 92 question?

Wait for the "lethal weapon" to come on the tv, than sell it next day on the armslist.

Replace the main springs. But, if the pistol cycles fine I would live with it.

Re: Can one buy a FN C1A1?

$800 is a good price. These are discontinued, other than obvious cosmetic differences, they are same as FNAR (same factory). Using, FGMM and Fastfire red dot scope, I shot 1 1/8" grouping at 100yds. People using hand-loads, usually get a ragged hole at 100yds. Read the reviews and do your resea...

Re: The value of STFU

The reason why anti gun lobby keeps getting funds. Jury was right to find him guilty. Although, 15minutes without police is a good argument for gun ownership.
