Re: Minimum Pistol Caribre for Bear

True, DGUS not so common too, but I still carry.

Minimum Pistol Caribre for Bear

Not sure if this is the correct forum. My wife and I are thinking about a trip up north of the cities, I was thinking about bears (TY Channel 2 Nature Special :S ) and what would be the minimum calibre for self-protection? Best I can do at the moment is a H&K USP .40 Calibre and Taurus snub .375...

Imo Dayton will veto it, on last day...

I think some legislators are voting on this knowing he will veto it, and that the veto will not be overriden.

Re: $50 light bulbs for everyone by 2012

I saw fluorescent bulbs at the dollar store a couple weeks ago. The price on those is getting more comparable. I bought one to see if the color was horrible. It was actually very similar to the incandescent bulb I replaced. We switched to flourescents a long time ago, made a nice dent in the electr...

Re: Adventures in Open Carrying

Bad thing about a civil suit, we pay for it, and cop does not get fired or better yet jail time for illegal activities, like the rest of us would get.

I don't include suspension with pay as a punishment as most of the rest of us would call that vacation.
