Re: ATI 556 magazines

Can't speak on the quality... But it's not a bad idea to keep a separate, distinguishable magazine. Say, you've got some special rounds you want to be able to quickly identify - Such as for hunting, if it proves to be junk you won't be terribly inconvenienced. Then you could keep it, for remedial ac...

Re: Appleseed Marksmanship Clinics - 2014

Thank you very much. When I searched earlier my search did not find the page you linked, so this helped me a great deal. I am thinking of signing up to see if they discover any bad habits I've developed over the years and if I do have them, they can help me train them away and increase my shooting ...

Re:

Good one. That's why we use them for hunting. Because they scare off critters. Its not a 2 stroke racer. Its a 4x4 trail machine. And we do occasionally stop and eat and talk. And some places I ride have shooting pits. Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk The point that they're trying to make is that ...

Re: Zastava M-70 + cheekweld = pain

A proper cheek weld should be buried to the point that bony ridge below your eye is resting on the stock. Is the pain being caused by recoil or the actual pressure of pushing your face into the stock? Are you putting your cheek right up against the receiver? Where do you generally place your cheek ...

Re: Anyone here hunt deer with an AR style of rifle?

Comment from the OP's link: After reading articles like this, I decided to give it a go because I love my stag 15. First deer I shot was with the Barnes TSX. Good clean hit. No blood. No deer. After that, I moved up to the 62 grain hog hammer TSX. Yesterday I had a deer run up to me and stop. I took...

Re: .32 Revolver made in India....2K

Design and manufacture a gun intended for use by the masses of ordinary womenfolk as protection against rapists, then proceed to price said gun out of their reach. What a great marketing concept! The 'middle class' in India is only just coming into existence. They probably still don't care too much...

Re: M1 Garand, ammo, etc.

I went through the CMP for my M1 and ammo - could not be more happy. Actually, that's a lie, I wish I'd done it years ago when the ammo was cheap! Bought a meager supply of ammo - half on clips, half in boxes. Now I've got enough to keep me going 'till I set up for reloading.

Re: glock probzz

Have you only used that same ammo from the same lot? While it should be able to fire any ammo/grain combo - if you've got a bad lot of ammo, you could run into those problems as well. Ideally, you could find another lot of the same ammo and try that - if it works, then contact Federal.

Re: Range camera, no more running back and forth

yuppiJR: explain for those of us who do not understand, how does the uplink work piece by piece. What each piece does and what you need to hook it up. I am sure interested. I have a Horizon MI-FI it works just about anywhere (Verizon has the best 4g coverage) Can I use that to send the signal out. ...

Re: Carrying on the job

It's not illegal, and there's no way they're going to find out, right? Unless of course you need to use it. In that case, your state of employment will likely be the last thing on your mind.

Re: Gun registration now?

Hope everyone pays for their gun related purchases with cash only (no checks or credit cards) cause otherwise, they don't need to collect 4473's, just credit card billings and bank statements will tell them who owns guns. They'd still need to get a warrant for that - But they don't necessarily do t...

Re: Appleseed Marksmanship Clinics - 2014

I see the new fee schedule does not include disabled veterans in the free column. Has this been eliminated? :salute: No, when you go to register you'll see this under the Free Ticket section: Active Military, Reserve, and Guard, Peace Officers, Disabled, (each require ID), Re-enactors in period dre...
