Re: Finally met OldmanFCSA

OldmanFCSA has always been generous in sharing his expertise with many of us here. One of many fine MN resources for the shooting community.

Re: Range camera, no more running back and forth

I have built something like this in the past as well. Don't forget about heat being an issue while it is out there when it is encased in something to protect it from whatever is deflected. I had plexiglass and a toolbox mixture and when I checked on the unit after an hour of shooting, it was pretty ...

Re: no more gunstop until john is back

Is there a list of powders available/in stock when you go into this store? I hate asking what is available individually.

Re: Where can I buy once fired brass?

Many thanks to everyone. I managed to acquire enough to do a thorough test and to have some batches for the upcoming season.

Your generous offers will not be forgotten.

Where can I buy once fired brass?

Can someone tell me where I can buy once fired brass? I need some 9mm luger cases to do some load test before it gets too busy with school/work, so I think I will just buy some for now. There must be police ranges that sell mostly once fired brass cases, but I do not know of a source. Inexpensive wo...

Re: NRA National Defense Match

Minnetonka Game & Fish hosts these 2 gun matches. Usually a match toward the end of the year.

Re: NRA National Defense Match

Why don't they just call this a tactical rifle match? Fancy name made me watch the video.

There are 2 gun matches (rifle/handgun). There were at least 2 last year.

Re: 3-gun training idea

I have been to private businesses and warehouses where the owner was fine with renting out their business space for this type of training. It was advanced skills course and we agreed to remove the firing pins on the site in front of each other before beginning. Difficult to get the message through, ...

purse gun - kahr cw or springfield xds

Between the two strictly for purse, I am going to vote XDs. I like kahrs, but it rotates when thrown into a pouch like space and XDs being top heavy rotates to top down as it bounces.

I would recommend trigger guard holster for either one.

Re: Sporting Clays special up at Wings North

Based on the photo provided, not sure it is that great of a deal with the manual cocking clay thrower especially when you are risking your life by standing right in front of it ;)

Re: My new Beretta 1301 Comp came in.

This is on my list of guns to buy to test out. I have the A400 Unico with K/O stock and I want to put that stock on this gun to see if it will be a good option for shooters looking for very light and very low recoil. But if my wife see one more shotgun in the house she might figure out they are not ...

Fiber optic front sight

Because it isn't a 34, you would be better off getting the truglo tritium fiber optic for dual purpose since the height isn't an issue.
