Re: Re: Where is all the ammo going?

What makes you say that Matt? My kid technically can't own a gun, but he's got two of them. ETA: according to this site: http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/united-states There's 88.8 guns per 100 people. I'd think we're probably well above 1/3 of the population given those numbers. I looked a...

Re: Safes...looking for suggestions

Dehum rod really necessary even in the house? The safe will be downstairs (half below grade), and my wife is paranoid about breakins, so the basement windows are NEVER open. It is never above 70% humidity down there. But I suppose its a pretty small insurance policy to invest in, better to have and ...

Wish I would be lucky enough to be there as they were putting it out, just once.

Where is all the ammo going?

All the major manufacturers are running full speed, and probably overtime. Where is all the ammo going? There is no way, with the slow pace it is trickling in and the fact that most places are limiting box counts on purchasing, that the regular flow of ammo is making it to the stores, and with the l...

Safes...looking for suggestions

Currently have a 10 gun stack on that is bursting at the seams. Looking to buy a large safe in early march. I don't see the need for one that will withstand sun temps for a week as I live in town. My primary needs are space, reasonable fire protection, theft protection, and inventory storage. Budget...

Re: 5.45x39 vs 5.56x45?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Think I will order that upper and a few mags. I'll probably stay away from the corrosive, and just buy the Hornady or Wolf ammo (I think Wolf is non-corrosive, right?), they were both bountiful at FF.

5.45x39 vs 5.56x45?

So I am seeing some 5.45 uppers available, and MUCH better ammo availability. Looked at the ammo tonight, and it is comparable to 5.56 in size, and looks like a good target round, and ammo prices are attractive. Couple questions: will a standard 5.56 lower and regular PMags work with a 5.45 upper an...

Re: 53rd Annual Wells Gun Traders Show

Never been to the wells show, but thinking about going this march. How are prices there? Crazy like gunbroker, or more reasonable?

WTB S&W M&P 15-22 mags

Need 6-10 M&P 15-22 mags. Prefer FDE, but black is fine too. Would also take Plinkster or Promags or a drum. If you got anything or see anything available, please let me know, or just grab it for me and I will buy it from you (at retail pricing, not the insane 3-4x retail on Gunbroker. I'll even...

Re: NFA poly & alum lowers, & PMags - interest in group buy?

They are not taking any new orders at this time. I placed two orders for 25 about 10 days apart. I also have 500 PMags on order in multiple colors, with and without windows, with no ETA and no guarantee I will ever get them. I have tried getting a hold of NFA this week for a status, and just get the...
