Not to suggest what is right/ wrong, good/ evil, moral/ immoral with regards to using a live animal for bait. I'll merely point out that some places animal cruelty laws are felonies, as unreasonable as that may seem. Possibly not in a rural/ ag area, but certainly in the metro area.
