Seeking hunting partners with time and money -July 26 update

Has nice populations of deer, turkey, grouse, rabbits, squirrels, ticks, mosquitoes and Bald Eagles. Has the occasional coyote, wolf and black bear (poop the size of my foot last week!) ...

Re: Fobus Paddle Holster

I' But when I go plastic, I use Fobus. Cheap, works, never a problem. I know a guy that loves his Hi-Point. "Never a problem", he says. I'm not that guy. Selective quoting will get you that. I think the first part of my statement pretty clearly identifies my quality choices to a reasonabl...

Re: Obama Expected to Close Gun Show Loophole by Executive Order

I see they're still regurgitating the same inaccurate statistic propaganda that 40% of all gun sales are between private parties at gun shows. I think you and the antis are splitting hairs. The so called "gun show loop hole is any private sale". I don't doubt that 40% of all gun sales/tra...

Re: Obama Expected to Close Gun Show Loophole by Executive Order

Can't wait to see the definition of "in the business" Number of guns sold, swapped, or transferred per year? Total revenue of guns sold, swapped, or transferred per year? Total "profit" made doing above? Gross or net? Ebitda? Before I lost all of my guns in a tragic boating accid...

Re: 4 Men Charged in Minneapolis 4th Precinct Shooting

This thread is a like an argument with my wife. She compares apples and oranges (my not listening to her vs. her spending too much time at yoga and spin class). I think all parties (BLM and the four idiots) are stupid. The four idiots did the shooting and will win a bigger "stupid prize". ...

Re: Gun Control - Works in Chicago, Doesn't it?

My guns have not shot anybody in the 2.5 years I have been in this pile of dog poop known as Illinois. They are very well controlled.

Packing up for deer season and discovered some good and bad news. The good? I've lost a bit of weight. The bad? My exceptionally amazing Filson outerwear is too big. What I have- Filson Double Mackinaw Cruiser, size 48, Green- http://www.filson.com/men/coats-jackets/double-mackinaw-cruiser-alaska-fi...

Re: Undecided .308 or 30-06

Wrong caliber, horrible gun. You'll never hit a deer with it. You'll probably lose your job and be evicted.

Enjoy!
