Re: Silencer Question

Nice synopsis. I talked to Atomic and they will be in the game for transfers ($50) and stocking for certain brands. I myself like silencerco. The Saker 7.62 is nice and cost on brakes/FHs is $60. Not bad. That combined with an Osprey .45 and some .22 LR model and you are set!! If you do buy a Saker...

Re: Suppressor Bill Signed!

Rad I think it is great that our rights are less limited but honestly never really understood the need for a suppressor. What is the attraction? So we don't destroy our hearing by age 50. My ears ring badly enough as it is at age 30 from years of playing trumpet in school and all the other loud musi...

Re: Omnibus Bill passes committee, full house vote on Thursday

Dayton was pretty clear that he would veto a suppressor bill. Would he veto the entire omnibus package to do so? User Ranb on arfcom made a pretty good point with this Remember this is not just a silencer bill or a gun bill. It is the Omnibus public safety finance and policy bill. I copied it to a ...

It's tricky to peel off the backing. Keep at it and try a razor blade or other very thin thingy to gently pry up the corner.

Re: OCG new badge front

Gently clean the surface of the old one, let it dry, then slap the new one on top of the old one.

Re: Buffer tube on AR pistol

Technically, no. As long as you don't have a loose stock sitting around that can be quickly attached to your "pistol", you can use a standard keyed buffer tube, though many choose to go full on CYA and use pistol buffer tubes.

Re: Suppressor, Second Amendment bills hearing scheduled!

Things were moved forward. This whole thing doesn't affect me much as I would most likely never spend the $1000 to get one, but it's nice to see some sanity on a committee vote. :) Even under muffs and plugs, guns are still not totally hearing safe. I'm ready to drop five times that on as any suppr...

Re: First time RSO duty today at OGC

Not saying that's not a good idea, but as RSO, your job is to ensure that everyone on the firing line is operating in a safe manner, not to help the shooter get on target. Time taken showing the shooter how to bore sight their rifle is time that's not spent performing your primary duty. Obviously. ...
