Re: Suggestions on a chest holster

A Maple Plain MN company.

http://www.pistolpackaging.com/category_s/48.htm

I have holsters from them for my Ruger Superblackhawk 10.5" and my T/C Contender 14" 444Marlin.
(Bought back in 1983.)

They offer option for carry not on their on-line store - contact them for details.

Re: Anyone cast there own 9mm?

Sam, Many years ago (back when we were both 20+ y.o. kids), I cast 9mm bullets using a 147 grain cast mold, sized to 355, loaded over Unique, but forget the charge, it was documented in a very old Lyman book. They shot well out of my Browning HiPower. The heavier than normal slug was shot at reduced...

Re: Muzzle Brake for Bubba.

I've got a muzzle brake for a H2 Colt barrel that is held on by setscrews. If you want to TRY it, you can have it, IF I can find it again. If it works temporarily, you will need to find a way to permnamently fasten it. Let me know. It would need to be bored out to slightly oversize for your barrel b...

Re: Muzzle Brake for Bubba.

You saw the flame re-direction, and felt the recoil reduction when shooting the 50, make a minature version of it.

Re: Assorted brass for beer PENDING

Hey, I'll keep picking my brass and tossing them in the range bag. Next time I clean it out I'll post about it at a different time! Or maybe I'll get a round tuit and be set up for reloading. ha. If I had not mis-typed the subject line, I might have been 1st. But something about mis-spelling ...

Re: Testing new Long Range rifle.

A clean reloading bench is the sign of a miss-prioritized life. Okay, now that somebody else has made excuses I can use... Seriously, you don't even begin to know the meaning of the word clutter until you've seen my mess. I've got a "gun room" that has my safe, shooting and reloadin...

Re: Ammo advisory/warning - Remington Core-Lokt 30-30 Win 150 gr

Just a quick observation here - most bottle-necked rifle cases head-space on the shoulder and any reloaded cases, even Rimmed or Belted-Magnum cases, should be the same. However, factory loaded Rimmed cases like the 30-30 are normally head-spaced on the Rim Face with the bolt-face holding cartridge ...
