Re: Took my carry class

I thought that target looked awfully familiar, and that the timing of your post was coincidental.... I was there too doing the class since I'll be due for renewal! (judging by your board name, I think I know who you were -- I had on my usual Hawaiian shirt...)

Re: Last EFFEN call for the Gopher on the 19th!!!

my other schedule item found it's way to the top of the list so I won't make this one - somebody else will need to fill in for me totin an AR pistol (since I was thinking that would be the appropriate choice for these trying times!)

have a great breakfast everyone! ;) ;)

Re: lighters

LOL, that would not be code!!! Just making the point that a house might be wired correctly, but the 'dumb human' element is always there. If we are banning lighters, shouldn't we also ban stoves? You don't need to have a stove. You can cook all of your food in a microwave. but wait a moment - didn'...

Re: Arnzen Arms grand opening

I stopped in for a while on Friday eve for the shindig - nice store, nice folks, cute dog. Won a S&W bag of goodies -- bad part was that there was NOT an M&P or a 642 in the bag! Fondled the PMR30, but couldn't make it back Sat afternoon for the draw to purchase it... Good luck with the busi...

Re: And from SS's Little Shop of Horrors...

OK, so who is trolling Seismic by #$%ing up casings to this extent and seeding the range with them so he'll find them? ;) ;) I can maybe see with a progressive how you might just dump a bunch of rounds from the bin into a container, but how can you screw a round up this bad and not notice it when yo...

Re: 2012 deer camp success thread

it shames me to admit it, but I practiced my "shoot and release" technique opening morning! passed up a short snout at first light, them took a shot at one about an hour later - thought I had a good sight picture in the scope, but the blood trail was minor and completely petered out after ...
