Ok. Go back and read through the 4 rules of gun safety in the article you posted, and explain how they could possibly be followed during the filming of a movie that depicts people shooting each other. I’m not arguing whether or not everyone should know the 4 rules and follow them like they’re carved...
Not really. You can't film a movie where people are supposed to be shooting each other without them breaking all of those rules. For the most part, the 4 rules of firearms safety are only known and understood by people who own guns. People who aren't "gun people" generally don't know them...
Wasn’t it in filming with a gun called out as a cold gun? In what film are the laws of gun safety ever observed? In all of them, where the production team insists upon it. Not really. One night when he was pretty new he ended up being the only employee there at the end of the night and had to close up the store by himself. He wasn't quite clear on the process, and ended up accidenta...
I have the black spray can of CLP. This stuff is bad? Been using it for years. Seems to do a good job. I would try CLR first (general cleaning product in the silver jug from Walmart, not CLP) first. It gets crap out of barrels that gun cleaning products don’t, I use it for regular rifle barrel cleaning. After that, I’d use Flitz or butch’s bore paste and scrub with a patch on a nylon brush. This is a...
I just stumbled back across this thread from 10 months ago. A lot has happened in that time, and a lot of the things that we were speculating about then have now happened. It’s pretty interesting to read back through it with what we know now.
Well, I guess there isn’t much reason to stop in any more then. There wasn’t much of a reason anyways, but our dog hair cut lady is a half mile away, so I usually stop in there and Fleet Farm to kill time when I bring him in.
