Re: AK or AR grips

Got the AR taken care of, now looking for AK grips. Used, OK, as long as it's decent shape.

Re: AK or AR grips

I mean the actual pistol grip attached to the lower receiver that you put your right hand on with the trigger in front of it. (if you're a righty) Looking for a replacement.

AK or AR grips

Where in town here is a good spot to buy some new grips for an AK or an AR? I'm hoping some place where they'll be in stock. I want to see them.
Or does anybody have some in nice condition they want to sell?

Re: Hi from Hudson!

I have 20 acres of woods that I'm planning on building a tactical shooting range in. Oooh, I can't wait to combine wheelin' the Jeeps in your woods with target shooting ... then again, might be best to keep those two activities separate! JC Are you on MN-Jeep? If not, you should be. I hold wheeling...

Re: Walking Targets

Brazing or bolting on the AR to the CR would work for that part, but the part I would be afraid of is if you hit that 2.5 inch circle, it would probably bend the CR steel right below the circle. It's only about an inch wide at that point. I know the design could be changed to make that wider, and us...

Re: Walking Targets

The AR series of steels are basically just "harder" steels. Because they're harder, they're also more expensive and more difficult to work with. Not for his laser or my Plasma, but like drills and stuff. Most of the steel targets you'll find are made from some grade of AR steel. CR (cold r...
