Re: Concealed EDC for limp-wristed, weak-fingered, new shooter?

I don't have grip strength issues, yet, but to help prevent them I bought this pair <http://www.amazon.com/Gripmaster-Prohands-Medical-Exercisers-X-Heavy/dp/B00CK2VAFK/ref=sr_1_20_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1450869954&sr=8-20&keywords=gripmaster+2-pack+strengthener> to use while watching TV,...

Re: If you want to get a Hicap 45 semi-auto, now is the time!!

Sam, I'm pleased you like your K2. You kept vigil for a long time to find the bargain, and I see you're enjoying the reward. I sure like mine a lot, put a TLR4 Streamlight on the rail and it's ready for home defense. The many mags I bought give me more time to shoot with less time reloading (thank h...

Handgun Locations for Home Security

Maybe my tin foil hat is on too tight, but DHS couldn't ask for a better question to be answered. Makes their job easier. I'll just say "what guns?"

Ruger's New 10 Shot .22LR, GP100

A compromise barrel length perhaps? Midway between 5" fans and 6" fans? If this had as nice a trigger as the one on my 5", I'd have to have it.

Re: Question about Bud's gun prices

BTW - this is really nuts, but the price at CDNN has dropped to $369.99!!! Damn!! They're almost giving them away!! I'm beginning to wonder if a second set of "spare parts" would be a good thing... or would that be a backup? When it goes back up to $500, I'll be wishing I had. There goes ...

Question about Bud's gun prices

The SAR K2 45 is not rated for +P from what I've seen Sam. Be cautious and RTFM.

Congrats on the new generation! Maybe someday you can pass the SAR on to your grandson as they're both coming into your life about the same time. Best wishes for health and happiness all around.

Question about Bud's gun prices

Success!!!!! The Gun Watcher app paid off, although I have yet to see anything good from Buds Guns. I brought it up for about the 20th time today seeing as I'm waiting for my Grandson to be born in NOLA, and there is a NIB K2 SAR 45 for $379 from CDNN. I have got good deals from these people before...

Re: Anyone tried Optimal Charge Weights method?

Great input from all, that I appreciate. I bought the AA15 from Bud's as a 'cheap' Blem at $639. I don't expect it to be a bench rest gun, but before I crank out thousand(s) of rounds I'd like to find what shoots well through it. If 3moa is the best I can get it to do then that's what I'll produce w...

Anyone tried Optimal Charge Weights method?

I'm new to 5.56/.223 reloading, new to the AR platform. I have purchased an Adam's Arms 16" Basic Carbine with melonite 1:7 barrel with carbine length piston system. (it works well with my vz2008 so why not, no don't go there it's already purchased). I get roughly 4-5" groups @ 100yds with...

Question about Bud's gun prices

It hit 395 and make offer last week, but varied at different times and search parameters it seems. Someone on a CZ forum grabbed one at the good price while it was there. Can't explain why it jumps around but just be ready should you ever see a good price! They'll honor it but it may not last the da...
