Re: GunShotWound management class offered...Signup

Hamburg was not a very big town when I used to hang out in the area 20 some years ago and I don't think there is much more today. Yeah it's pretty small. 513 people in the 2010 census. Norwood Young America is the closest place to eat with a few restaurants, followed by Waconia which has a lot more.

MSRP $1500 but they say it'll normally be $1200 which. So basically as I understand that, Gander = $1590. Cabelas = $1220, Grousemaster = less? :D

Yes if you just want to waste time looking at stuff. My wallet didn't get any exercise which is rare when I'm in a store with any sort of firearms.

Re: Little story bout Kel-Tec..............................

How much did you pay for it or want to sell it for? I'm supremely confident that I could get the pistol working at 99+% reliability in less than an hour.

UTAS UTS-15

Does anyone have a UTAS UTS-15 or had hands on experience with one? Apparently Atlantic is preparing to sell them and they're being produced in the states: http://www.guns.com/utas-makina-producing-uts-15-shotguns-in-us-des-plaines-il-7507.html http://i.imgur.com/Ul5fq.jpg http:/...

What did you buy? Had a friend selling an mp5, so I'm curious.

Re: Need the help from all the AR crazies....

Are there any stores here in the metro area that actually sell kits that a person can actually go look at in person In the metro there are a few folks that sell kits and parts, but don't have a walk-in storefront. You could try Element Arms in Becker, MN though. http://i.imgur.com/NBcfR...

Re: Guy at Cabela's today.

I visited the Gander store after they had just re-opened the firearms section in Eden Prairie. I had at least 12 different people ask me if I needed help with anything, or if I wanted to look at anything. Stopped back a few weeks later and could have sworn I was in a complete different store. It was...

Re: P226 - threaded barrel vs non threaded

Barrel length by itself has almost nothing to do with accuracy, provided the barrel is long enough for the bullet to accelerate to the minimum velocity necessary for the rifling to impart a fast enough spin on the bullet for it to gyroscopically stabilize after leaving the barrel. That's somewhat l...

Re: P226 - threaded barrel vs non threaded

longer barrels tend to be more accurate, in this case the difference would be negligible. Basically it's a choice between being able to add a suppressor or not.

Re: Shooting for how long??

I've never shot a gun before, they're evil and better left to the authorities to deal with. 8-)
