Re: Trouble with my Colt AR

Is it lubed well?
Also, open it up and inspect for a blown primer or other debris.

Re: Can You Hunt With A Bump Stock Rifle?

You could, but in the grand scheme of stocks, it’s a pretty lackluster design ergonomically IMO. That’s if it was used in semi-auto.
Anyone using it in bumpfire mode for hunting just shouldn’t be hunting.

Re: AR builders, chime in please

If you are using a threadlocker on a gas block, you should be using a high-temp one like Rocksett or Loctite Green. Anything less (like Loctite blue or red) will burn off. At that point, the only thing holding the set screw in place is the torque level and thread fitment/friction. If you don’t have ...

Re: AAR: Sentinel Concepts Practical Urban Carbine

If you take measurements of the back aisles of a Super Target, Home Depot or Wally World, you come up with distances that are close to 200yds, and sometimes over. You also have some schools that have very long corridors. At my previous LE agency, we measured several lines of sight and corridors at c...

Re: AAR: Learning Firearms Moving Handgun, Breezy Point MN

Excellent review. About 2.5 hours from here (Lakeville), but the review definitely encouraged to plan a date in the future! I'll keep an eye out for next year's two-day event and book a room out there. Nice job! I also live in the metro, but we have a great facility that is worth the drive. We have...

Re: AAR: Learning Firearms Moving Rifle/Carbine, Breezy Point MN

Sure, I'll post up a thread specific to our range and our observations. It'll probably be tomorrow evening before it gets posted up, but I'll put it up in this subsection.

Re: 10X (Blue Lakes) Ammo

I still think you should name the company doing the training, as this is a pretty serious safety and MANAGEMENT infraction that could have gotten somebody hurt. They buy crappy re-manufactured ammo from God only knows where, and perhaps the half sober uncle of one of the owners/trainers, and then e...
