Re: Geese, Geese, Geese

30ish years ago there was a guy demonstrating shotguns with 6' barrels for urban goose control. They were goofy looking but they were fairly quiet.

Re: Good luck tomorrow, deer hunters!

You can keep it if you contact the DNR or state patrol.

My son looked it over and decided it wasn't worth the work.

Re: Lewiston Maine mass shooting

We'll know more in the next few weeks/months, but in my experience, the goblins that perpetrate these kinds of heinous crimes have a long history of anti-social behavior and mental instability.

Re: Gun store/ range permanently closed

With the shortage of places to shoot, if they decided to retire, I would think they could have easily sold their business. Unless there was some kind of conditional use permit restricting it.

Re: AR-15 History Book

Eugene Stoner invented the AR-15 rifle in a California garage

That's rich. I guess if you consider Armalite Corporation to be a Garage.

Re: Need some simple gunsmithing

I am making no endorsement at all about the following, I'm just posting it for general knowledge. Temu is a site I ran across that has things at VERY low prices. Temu is one of those CCP-owned sites I will never use. You'll buy a ChiCom press from (Mao) Harbor Freight but not from Temu? Or is it th...

Re: Israel Eases Guns Restrictions Amidst Security Failures

I understand all that. It's just with the history of Jewish persecution, regional instability and terrorism I'm surprised they don't want themselves and each other better armed.

Re: Israel Eases Guns Restrictions Amidst Security Failures

I’m really surprised Israel doesn’t have a Swiss like system regarding arms.

Re: My 50 Cal Exploded

20N29 seems to be readily available at $35-$40 a pound. Fairly reasonable for VV.

Midsouth had free Hazmat a few days ago. I don't know if they still do.

Re: My 50 Cal Exploded

The threads on the breach cap sheared off. The designer said that would require pressures exceeding 85,000 PSI. The pressure in the chamber should have been no more than 55,000 PSI. I don't know about you, but for me that's far too small a margin of safety. While I'll agree that's not much of a saf...

Re: My 50 Cal Exploded

I'm not going to waste my time watching Bubba trying to kill himself with his 50 BMG.

This is the same troglodyte who made a video intentionally blowing up an M1 Garand.
