Re: A forum bird hunt ?

Plenty of MN raised birds get sold to SD for release. Call it what you will. I have no issues with a game farm either and go when I can but if you think SD is just wild birds galore running around you are deluding yourself. It is a business and big business at that and the pump needs primed in order...

Re: Ruger 22/45 - opinions?

Pitfalls, yea, several.

1) You will want more than 1.
2) Your range fees will go up because you will convince yourself that since it is only .22 you can go more often (false sense of economy).
3) Other handguns in your collection will be jealous.

Consider yourself warned.

Re: Bow hunting on public land

Scouting is key to bow hunting success. Locate the travel cooridors close to feeding areas and bedding areas. Set a stand on those heavily used routes according to the wind and wait. Or do like I do and move slowly through the woods with the wind in your face, spot one and then the fun starts :D

I sure as hell didn't call attention to it... :? So I wonder what part is frowned on more, the fact that it is pepper sp...

But would not one have had to be the recipiant of said trust from someone who died and had a class III then? Seems like the winning the lottery idea has better odds.
