Re: Range Etiquette?

Rodentman wrote:If I am shooting an auto, I usually load about 10 rounds and pick up that group of brass before shooting another magazine. I don't let a bunch of brass accumulate. I am very careful walking in the range due to my pathetic leg.

Is that your REAL pathetic leg or your FAKE pathetic leg???

Re: Range Etiquette?

Last time i shot indoors, a nice gentleman in the next lane "cleaned up" a bunch of my brass when he was done shooting... as we all know brass flies away and mine was landing right behind him... I really wished he was one of those messy people that leave it alone Has it occurred to you th...

Re: wear your deep BS boots b4 reading this one

So before guns shows 15,000 are injured in Cali, and after gun shows 14,893 are injured? That means ZERO difference with respect to gun shows. My own take on this is that with liberal Kalifornia idjits being clueless about guns, they merrily shoot themselves in the foot all the time, while in Nevada...

Re: titegroup question

Titegroup was introduced in 2003. Unless there was recall batch, it would be unusual for a modern smokeless powder to go bad in 14 years. And yes, if it smells fine or has little odor, it should be good. Off color powder is definitely fertilizer!!!

Re: CZ Scorpion Carbine 40S&W?

Thanks, I had no idea. Do you have any idea why the 40 is declining so fast? I thought that round was by many considered superior to the 45. Anyways, that's unfortunate. I still really like 9mm but it's tricky to find much out there for carbines in 40 or 45. I've NEVER heard that ANYBODY ever consi...

Re: Article on the Fugly Gunz of Rodentman....

Not hardly. Seeing as he has one of those weird FN 5.7's and a glorious Coonan that spits fire, as long as it's ugly or weird, he owns it. He even has an EAA Thor 44 mag single shot, which is neither revolver or auto.

I disagree. This is all about including the subject of twist rate in posts having to do Rodentman's knickers - Who give a F**K about the Glock anyway??

Re: Old Ammo questions (38-55 Peters, 32 Win Spl Super Speed

You can throw it away. Both calibers are still available for sale from Midway. BTW - the only value would be collectable, and no one in his right mind would shoot a round of ammo that's been sitting around since I was born, and was maybe reloaded by an idiot back then.

Re: "Best" Handgun for Women

Interestingly, my druggist down here is a woman about 6' tall, and she wound up with a Glock 19 also. Months ago I came in with a Barrett hat on, and she asked me if I knew anything about firearms  and so I loaned her my copy of Mike Martin's Book. I have been a staunch advocate of the idea...
