Re: You know you want one

Does it look cool? Maybe to some people.

But what is it really doing to improve the gun? Lowering the bore axis so it isn't about accuracy.

Design is nothing new as I have seen the lowered barrel designs in antique firearm collections.

Re: I receieved my permit to purchase but now a NICS?

To a reasonable person, it makes sense as to why one needs this permit if they are going through background check. If you are defining "reasonable" as "irrational" or "incapable of seeing reason", then maybe I'll agree with the above assessment. Please do let us know w...

Re: Why no love for the Beretta 92?

What everyone said above.... But mostly, after learning to not use the slide release 7 years ago, I noticed that on 92 type pistols the safety will engage when racking the slide for me. I have owned two and they have been sitting in the safe. I have sold the INOX version which fetched a nice price w...

Re: Questions Re: HK91

Can't believe you only paid 2k for this. Although, I can't tell the condition without looking at it in detail.

I have one that is like new 99% condition and could never bring myself to shoot it.....so I bought a PTR-91.

Re: I receieved my permit to purchase but now a NICS?

I think this is a legitimate question. I am not sure why all the "trap" comments popped up (maybe an inside joke?). I moved from states that do not have Permit to Purchase hassle. To a reasonable person, it makes sense as to why one needs this permit if they are going through background ch...

Re: Traveling with my handgun

TSA lock for your suit case.....Non-TSA lock for your gun case. I personally prefer combination locks as I am already carrying too many keys. If you can, put 2 locks on if there are two holes for locks (I have seen this issue once where TSA said there is another locking area that was not covered and...

Twin Cities area recommended attorney

I have been living here for a while now, but I noticed today that I do not have any information on a good criminal defense lawyer that is knowledgeable on self-defense shooting related cases. I would like to update this as soon as possible and wanted some recommendation from long time residents that...
