If gas supply is an issue why not look at one of the motorized AEG or CO2 powered variations? All formats have their plusses and minuses, but if the cost and/or flammability of green gas/propane is an issue it seems like you might want to consider hardware with a different propellant requirement?
Conspiracy or not, not having a autopsy on a person who died with no one around has to make you wonder WTF is going on. As for our 2A rights, the socialists or any other group would need to disarm america 1st for them to ram down our throats there way of life forced on us. Since all my guns were st...
Zombie thread! I saw this new product from Caldwell and it reminded me of this thread long ago, looks like some of the "pie in the sky" ideas people were looking for back when we had this conversation are finally coming to market at an affordable ($500) pricepoint: http://www.alloutdoor.co...
I originally planned this setup for a second TV in our new home, but my wife and I agreed that a smaller soundbar/subwoofer setup was a better fit for the space. Here's a list of what's included for $200: Yamaha RX-V373 Receiver - http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-visual/av-receivers-amps/rx/rx-v...
If you are going with an AR10 platform why not just use a well designed factory cartridge in .308 Win. using monolithic bullets to maximize penetration as a baseline for comparison to either your own hand-loads or any of the other cartridge choices mentioned previously to decide if it's worth the in...
My opinion - the cost of the SIG Brace runs $150ish new, tax stamp on an SBR runs $200. Unless you are specifically interested in the pistol/handgun classification for hunting opportunities, I'd just build a proper SBR and not screw with the risk/"nuance" of building an AR pistol with a Si...
The manufacturer should be able to provide a torque spec for their product, there are a lot of variables to consider and this isn't a standard part for which a common torque spec applies. If you are not sure, ask before you start cranking away on a screw with 60 pounds of torque that's only rated fo...
Call Jerry Helm, Firing Line Sports, 6008 Heather Dr Ne., Ham Lake, MN 55304 Phone: 763-434-2558 handguner@comcast.net I think he charges $10.00 for a transfer, but he could have booted up to $15.00 I think he is listed on this site under inexpensive FFL's or some such title. He is a nice guy. +1 S...
If you're nervous just pay an FFL to do the transfer, $20-$30 for the peace of mind isn't a bad play IMHO. Advertise in Armslist and be prepared for some idiocy, but you'll have better luck than the local marketplace which gets MUCH less traffic.
