Re: Keeping Firearm in RV?

BigBlue, Are you saying we are allowed to consume alcohol and carry at the same time? In my carry class we were told you cannot legally carry if you have been drinking at all, unless you are at home. You were told wrong. IIRC, if your BAC is under .04, you're OK. That said, it isn't terribly diffic...

Keeping Firearm in RV?

BigBlue,

Keeping Firearm in RV?

Fully understanding that an internet forum does not equate to legal advice: The wife and I plan to buy our first travel trailer this winter, which leads me to wonder about the legality of storing firearms in RV's. Does MN law treat RV's more like a dwelling or a vehicle? If I have a carry permit and...

Re: Murderapolis at bar close time

Can't hardly go downtown for anything anymore. Haven't been spending my money on any dinners, concerts, plays, or other evening events in Minneapolis for a long time. I do have concert tickets for a show in September off Hennepin that I purchased last year. Need to figure out if I can carry to that...

After some thought, I submitted the upgrade form last night. I hesitated because I hate flat triggers, but I agree with Ghost's line of thinking. Safety is most important, even if the risk is very small. Even though I love it (it's my carry and nightstand gun) if I can't get used to the flat trigger...

I'm not an expert, but I would think using a stun gun on someone sitting behind you would be quite difficult. I think she would be better off with good quality mace/pepper spray.

Re: Gorsuch is in.

Also, the senate midterms stack up very badly for the Dems, as they have most of their contested seats in Red States were Trump won. It is very likely the GOP will hold the senate. The problem you are overlooking is Trump' s 35% approval rating. That is historically bad for a new president. Obvious...

Yep. Be careful what you wish for, because this could burn Republicans badly in the future. Now that they are in power, they could really feel the pain in the next election or two unless people see real progress. That's how it usually goes.

Yep. I give it about a 1% chance. Only way it's going to happen is if they have enough votes to override the veto. I like that they are trying though.

Re: Onamia Gravel Pit Range

The BIGGEST reason finding a place to shoot up cans, phone books, milk jugs, etc is getting very hard to find is because of the Yahoos in the past that DON'T CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. They leave their junk targets all shot up all over the place and then the land owner sees the mess and posts no tr...

Full-auto is not going to happen. I would even predict quite a few Republicans would vote that down. I agree suppressors are more realistic. Even Dayton signed that into law here.

Re: Army chooses new pistol.......

It's the P320 and it's a damn good choice. I've had one for over a year and it is flawless. ...I even shot it side by side with the HK VP and Sig was my favorite. The Army made a great choice. Picked up a VP9 a month ago and it is alright. For some reason I did not even think to look at the P320......

Re: Army chooses new pistol.......

It's the P320 and it's a damn good choice. I've had one for over a year and it is flawless. I've shot many striker fired handguns and this is by far my favorite. It became my daily carry immediately, parking my trusty Glock (daily carry) on a shelf in the safe. I even shot it side by side with the ...

I agree Atomic Tactical is a good place to use. I will continue to use them. They aren't very good at calling you when your gun is ready for pick up, however.
