Re: GunShotWound management class offered...Signup

Hi!
Just a thought:

Would anyone be interested in carpooling down there?

I live in Oakdale, but can drive to meet just about anywhere and work until 4.

Re: I would appreciate a female perspective.

The fear of guns to some people can sometimes be extremely serious. Sometimes it has something to do with their past, whether a victim of gun violence or an experience they’ve had that has put a certain image in their mind. Or the one thing that really frustrates me: someone put a larger caliber gun...

Re: Tell Governor Dayton to sign the Stand Your Ground bill

Done again!

I also added that of all the other states that already have “stand your ground” laws in place, I’m completely unaware of any Law Officer’s that have been killed or even hurt by a law biding citizen under their law.

Re: Gift ideas.

I would suggest a gift certificate attached to a box of ammo for it!

That way, she can try it out and decide if she likes it enough to practice with it and then maybe decide how to carry it :D

Re: Bill's Gunshop tokens

My understanding is that there is a very short list of people that allowed too draw from the holster, I know LEO’s are and that they still must be approved by the RO. It has to do with insurance. The reasoning is that their insurance covers them while they are there. With the circulation of all the ...

Re: Mom want's to start carrying, need some advice

Is she completely new to shooting or has some experience? It's wonderful how you're taking her hand strength and RA in consideration-many people don't. If she is pretty new, please start her out with a .22 and let her have some fun and get some confidence. Starting out, if she doesn't like the littl...

Re: No Gun Safety Classes during shutdown

Though did this structure change in recent history? When my eldest took the class at bills a few years ago it was around $50, not the $15 that is currently being advertised, the class had about 50 some students and 4 instructors. I've been one of the FAS Instructors at Bill's for more than a 6 year...
