Re: Anti gun bigotry.

You mean like these people: http://bearingarms.com/beth-b/2016/10/12/taking-cocks-to-the-white-house/ HA HA HA HA HA! Getting slapped in the face with a 14" rubber dong might stun an attacker for a second or two out of pure confusion... but then as one of the anti's favorite arguments goes: Th...

Re: Pre-Dawn No-Knock SWAT Raid for Minor Drug Charge Ruled Unco

Yet, we keep hearing and reading that LEO are on the side of the second amendment and would refuse orders to confiscate etc. Seems like they are ready willing and able to do anything they are told, regardless of the constitution. That's two very b road generalizations in two sentences. It's one thi...

Re: Advise on first handgun purchase

What's your preferred budget range and your "absolute seriously not joking can't go a penny over" price?

You can buy a new handgun for $150 to $Thousands.

Re: OldManFCSA Reloading Training

Just some good-natured teasing. We all know OldMan is a guy of many talents: MacGyver, machinist, an excellent teacher, a master reloader, skilled with many types of firearms...

If I get to choose the caliber I'd feel pretty safe with him shooting .40 --- I don't think I would even have to run, speed-walk maybe but not run.

OldManFCSA Reloading Training

I went off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Os(ceola).

Super fun day, thanks OldManFCSA. Great teacher, overall great guy. I'll be back for a separate rifle loading session. Maybe I'll even be able to teach him something, like how to hit a steel plate with a .40 cal projectile. ;)

Re: Is Geco 7.62x39 brass any good?

My thought was that I could buy loaded ammo (500 or 1,000) for the same price as naked brass, then save and reload the brass. I guess I'll have to buy just one or two boxes and take some up to visit Oldman for expert inspection and opinion.

Re: Is it Time to Stock Up?

10 to 20 magazines per gun? I think that's excessive. I like magazine-loaders, heck of a lot cheaper than 10-20 mags. I seem to have an affinity for guns with expensive mags, for the price of 10-20 mags I could have another gun. Magazine loaders work great at the range. For combat should it ever co...

Is Geco 7.62x39 brass any good?

Quick search online and memory from recent FF visit, new x39 brass runs $0.40-$0.60 each. I see this Geco brand fully loaded ammo with boxer primed brass for $0.40 each , sounds like a win to me. For less than the price of naked brass it can be shot once before reloading... Unless the brass sucks ba...

Well there goes my plan...but the man on TV said they were an investment and they would go up in value... They're limited edition, they HAVE to go up in value.

I'm screwed.

Re: POLL: How often do you carry?

85 votes so far... I didn't even know there were 85 unique monthly visitors to MNGT. Personally I'm in one of the lower brackets...
