SIG HAMMERLI P-240 32 WC

Anybody know if the 32 WC conversion made by SIG has to be fitted to the frame (I own a 38 WC already?) I know that those little Swiss Gnomes make a good product, It's just I don't know if the conversion is ready to go as is, or need mating.

Re: Ruger 22/45 vs Kimber conversion

Unfortunately, you are comparing oranges to apples. Off the shelf, the Ruger will not qualify as a target weapon until it is heavily modified. We are talking, barrel, trigger, grips, sights or red dot, weights here. (I'd allow +$500 for this route). Call Jim Clark and "git er dunn" Now, th...

Re: AR15 - 223 - Hard Primers/Light Hits

Yank the carrier, pop the cotter key and get that nasty greasy firing pin out and clean it. Then with the right brush, give that firing pin way a cleaning, same with bolt. I even use a leather shoestring and Mother's. I even boil mine with non-sudsing detergent. The spring has to be surgically clean...

Re: What's with the Auctions lately?

I like this site. I have the greatest respect for honest and kind fellow gun owners. It's our right to keep and bear arms. And, it's our bond to act with civilty. I do not mind being thankful over the fact that this is a free market country with no constraints on speech and expression. I believe in ...

Re: Looking for a Large Range Bag

Stay with the Midway bag. I bought two, and I am always range ready. You can always short stuff the side pockets to drop weight, but when this bag is full. the guys at the range know that you are a 'shooter'. Beauty of the Midway bag is, you unzip the front, you have all your tools, mags and a clean...

Re: WTB: AR15 20 rnd Mags

Brownells, as I remember, won the military contract for hi-cap GI m-16 mags. They make the only " good" mag because they back it up with their good name. The availability of their magazine is.....zero. I'd advise to go ahead and backorder, but remember that the average life span of a mag i...

Re: Why "nix" Magtech?

My pea-shooters, Baer, m-52s, m-41, P240 & P210 all take a dip in the tank every 500 Rnds. I have discovered that a simple combination of a quart of Hoppes, added to thinner, carb cleaner, spirits, acetone, naptha, chlorinated solvent, xylene, carbon disulfide and benzene makes powerful "wi...

Re: Why "nix" Magtech?

I have three (3) S&W M-52s. I got my buddy to finally drop some cash on his first. At 50 feet, 5 shots, 4 in one hole, and one squeaker to 7 o'clock. MagTech ammo is awesome.!

Re: AR Info

I have only built 7 AR-15s, so that does not qualify me as an expert builder. However, I was advised by a pro builder that before building the AR, buy the barrel vise inserts, receiver (nylon) insert, Bolt and Upper clamp-down support, a real armorer's tool, or two, the pin punch block for the front...
