I'm going to end up with so much loaded ammo that I'll have to shoot a lot more this summer/fall.

Re: Oakdale Gun Club "OGC" Closure

Erud wrote:Since OGC closed voluntarily, do they plan to issue a partial refund of membership dues?

Erik, If the closure reduces the amount of time we are open to the public, it conceivably could increase our dues. ;)

Re: Scott County BOC 2nd Amendment Resolution Workshop

Per the resolution's language, any "mandate, law, policy, order, or any other directive which infringes on the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms". Yes, any existing law/policy is already an infringement. Yes, these "dedications" shouldn't be needed given the Bi...

1) I like reloading 2) I only reload one caliber at this time 3) I load for accuracy I have a RCBS single stage press that I have modified for speed. Re: new website find

Some of the tests were at 5 yards. Not sure what accuracy conclusions you can reach with 1 target of 3 shots at 5 yards.

Re: OGC Picnic

The VP and the staff worked with me to get my 2 days correct, but it was frustrating. I had sent in an email asking about signing up for 1 of 2 particular dates (from the newsletter) and never heard back. So I used the paper sign ups in the clubhouse instead and went ahead to plan my other activitie...

Re: Would you run this?

I would not. The time it would take to balance the springs to the load would not be worthwhile and would add a ton of wear before I got it right.

WTB Sig Sauer STS-081 red dot

If someone has one sitting in a drawer, I'm considering trying this older version of the Romeo-5. I don't want the push buttons on the Romeo-5.
If so, send me a PM please.
Thanks,
Ian

Re: Modern Sportsman opening a Range in Burnsville

I tried their range yesterday and liked it a lot - $20 walk in. Friendly people, fantastic air clearing, and a nice retail area. Sound control in the range was the only down-side I noticed.

Overall, I highly enjoyed my weekday visit - weekends might be more of a zoo. I hope they succeed.

Re: How Stock & Barrel Gun Club screwed my family over

Eric, So sorry to hear - I remember a mentor of mine saying, "Never take money out of someone's pocket!" If you got the job offer in writing, perhaps you have a case in small claims court. If not, that was an expensive lesson to always get the new job in writing before you turn in notice a...

anyone sell 1911 .45 extractors in metro area?

Looking to pick one up to see if my current long extractor is causing any issues. Seems a shame to order online if I have to pay shipping.
