Re: Buying used guns

A bit over your 10 mile limit but really not by much. I would reccomend a trip to the Gun stop in Minnetonka sometime. Great prices and decent selection.

Re: 2nd Handgun

Getting your permit does not mean you have to carry. Maybe look at it as an option available to you? I would consider it. And I still think a .357 should be a mandatory item in every home. I use mine more than the kitchen sink, ok so maybe that is why the dishes are stacked to the ceiling.

Re: 2nd Handgun

If one is going to have only one centerfire handgun, then a .357 is that gun. (and I do mean period) It is versitile and the round that many self defense round's performance are measured against. If you do not plan to carry it, then I would suggest something in a 6 inch barrel as you have stated a f...

Re: Going prone at Oakdale?

It's probably something that should be addressed at a future meeting. RO's contradicting one another and inconsistent application of policies just looks bad and pisses people (read: paying customers) off. Agreed, but at the same time an RO has to feel empowered to use common sense as well. One can ...

Re: MN Conceal Carry Club Start up...

Plus shooting a Ruger #1 45-70 load in an 1873 gun is not a good idea?? I could use a vacation right now. True, but Marlin loads in a BFR is a riot! :D Actually, I've had a suspicion for quite a while that it's probably nearly impossible (short of a full case of Bullseye) to blow up either a Desert...

Re: FL Sheriff says his officers will "Draw Down" on Open Carry

There are times an places for both methods. Utilize accordinly.

Think of this, if you beleive CC is the only way to go and then slip in the parking on ice and your cover garment opens up are you still CC? Sounds pretty open to me. Don't infringe on my rights and I will not infringe on yours mm'k?

What type of work would this entail? Just currious. I have one in 6.8 SPC that seem to be holding 4 inch groups at 100 quite well and was considering using on Whitetail as is.

Re: Well, I have finally saved up....

Please post a price. This is not an auction site. I do have one I would sell you, but i require FTF, PTP and PTC both, a complete sequence of your genome, and a PTSCM (Permit to spread cow manure). I currently have it listed at 20% over the retail price found at gander mountain and do not have a bo...

Officers searched the area near 17th & Queen & located a partially spent round.

Huh?

It was a handload from someone who did not read the manual, but rather got their load info from the interweb and only half the bullet left the case. Pretty sure. ;)

Re: WTB Spotting Scope

If you are really in the mood to mess with yourself, go to Cabella's and spend an hour picking out your spotting scope. Then just before you throw down the plastic, ask to look through a Swarowski. Your jaw will drop... Hmmm, I've generally found that compared to a lot of cheaper optics Swarowski &...
