Re: What's your companies policy for carrying at the office??

I may call a lawyer to see if there's a defined answer (yes or no) as to whether an employer can ban employees from have a firearm in a locked vehicle in the parking lot. I agree the vies seem contradictory. I admit I don't consider my commute on 35E and 494 to be a high risk area, and I rarely sto...

Re: Just finished my Tactical Walls install

Not very tactical now that the internets know about it. ;)

Very cool installation - how did you accomplish the lighting, or is that just something you bought?

Re: What's your companies policy for carrying at the office??

No handbook - No memo - No word... As far as I'm concerned it's a Don't Ask - Don't tell policy. But I wouldn't wanna get caught... Just got a new job - same situation. No written policy that I am aware of, although the windows to the side of the door may or may not say (sic) "We ban guns on t...

I've got a P290 in mine, for what it's worth.

Remora Holsters

I just bought one, complete with mag carrier - they were having a sale (still running as of 8/3), so I decided to go for it. For those unaware: the general idea is that they have a super high friction material on the outside of the holster, allowing you to stick them in your slacks behind your belt ...

Re: flashlight

I'm a huge FourSevens fan, and their customer service is excellent. I broke the clip on one of my lights (through no fault of theirs) and e-mailed asking how I could order a replacement.
A couple weeks later, I had a new tailcap assembly in my mailbox, gratis.

Re: Sig P290RS

I have a Sig 250 .40 S&W. I've tried like heck to get it to malfunction and it has never had a hiccup. I own 4 Sigs with the same quality as my P250. I will say that their Mosquito is junk and shouldn't even have the Sig name on it. But the rest of their products I would bet my life on them. Er...

Re: Sig P290RS

... P250 compact ... Then got a sig mosquito... Well I found your problem. You managed to pick the two Sigs with the most atrocious reliability records. :P Seriously though - I have no dog in the fight, but I do like my Sigs, and I just thought you should know that those two are known for being bas...

Re: Fingerprint safe

A serious answer to a smart ass remark.... Yup...and timely too. No, it's not THIS gun forum obviously, but there's another local gun forum which appears to be down right now... Re: Holy Bullet Setback, Batman!

Image

I carry a Sig P220 because it's infused with Teutonic Dwarf magic, it's rated for +P, it's a single stack, and it's not plastic. I also happen to carry concealed, with one in the chamber.

... what, nobody was asking?

..fine, be that way.
