Hey, the Marine Corps went (back) to .45 ACP.

I'll just leave this here...

Re: Minnesota Militia(s)?

I prefer to expect the best but be prepared for the worst.

I suggest you do whatever that means for you.

I didn't say they were unconstitutional - I said the MN law against them is arguably unconstitutional.

Re: Minnesota Militia(s)?

I would point out that all of the above-listed examples were individuals who did not know each other in any way - I'd argue that the local National Guard is much less likely to "just follow orders" because they know the community. Also, on an anecdotal note, I know several guard members wh...

Re: Smith 6946, Glock 21s, and Sig 226 40 cal at Cabelas

They were all police trade-ins - none of them in particularly great shape, but at least with Sig and Glock you know they're gonna be good for a while yet.

Galco Holster Reference

http://www.usgalco.com/catalog/excel/ga ... ecoder.xls

The Galco Seekret Decoder booklet!
Thought it'd be useful for some folks, found it while researching a marketplace listing.

Useful if you have the "Galco Number" of the holster but have no idea what it's made for.

Re: Shippy's garage sale: holsters and misc

I'm just going to pester all of your threads... I found this: http://www.usgalco.com/catalog/excel/ga ... ecoder.xls which appears to be the Galco Seekret Decoder Ring. :D
Anyway, for those of you lazy bums who don't want to click, the 246 is built for the S&W 6906/3913.

Re: Criminals can read.

I can see both sides of this one - intelligent criminals (as oxymoronic as that may be) could use NRA stickers and the like to help form targets and whatnot, but the really smart ones would figure out you own guns anyway, and plan a robbery for a time when you're not home... The ones that would noti...

Re: CT Shooter...

I have 2 pet Gerbils and I named them both Joseph. When I worked for Bosch I had to watch the alleged humor. Referring to corporate policy as "Fuhrerprinzip" was not deemed funny. I just wanted to let you know that I lost my **** reading this. Glad I wasn't taking a sip of my coffee...

Re: reports end run 2nd amendment by UN small arms treaty

Something mentioned as a negative outcome (cutting us off) would be a freaking BOON for the US economy! What would happen if the UN put sanctions on US trade? We'd in-source production of everything we needed. That's jobs folks. Lots and lots of jobs! We'd stop exporting medical devices and prescri...

WTB: AR-15 Receiver Extension Tube

The thing the buffer goes in to on an AR. :D I'm looking for a multi-position tube - mil-spec. I have a standard A2 tube on the AR right now, and I want to put a collapsible stock on it. Let me know what you have - I'd like to spend no more than 30 bucks or so, but that'll depend on what you've got ...

Re: SF 458 Passed committee...

Best outcome - SF458 fails on the floor since it doesn't have the votes; SF1359 (better than SF458, but still more regulation nonetheless) never comes up, and nothing gun-related "gets done" at all this year. +1 SF1359, while not as bad as 458, still creates some issues that really don't ...
