There's never going to be peace in that neighborhood.

There hasn't been for 2,000 years. Why would today be any different?

Re: Private Transfer Form

That is the point, if an FFL is used the seller is NOT REQUIRED to keep paperwork. But when the firearm is traced to the seller, unless they keep paperwork from the FFL transaction, how do they prove an FFL was used unless they remember 10 years later which FFL it was so then the police can go to th...

Re: Private Transfer Form

The number of FFL's in MN that I found are 2,434. Asking each FFL to check their records they must keep for 20 years for a specific firearm S/N sounds like a great burden. Last that I knew, only paper records can be kept. For me, the intent of the law was to prevent the sale to a known criminal by a...

Re: Private Transfer Form

How is a firearm traced when a private transfer through an FFL is done unless the transferor keeps a record of the transfer through the FFL to show the FFL was used? I can contemplate many scenarios where a firearm trace hits a dead end. Actually most. You're completing a 4473 and that's traceable....

Private Transfer Form

Here is the new MN Private Transfer Form. https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/bca/bca-divisions/administrative/Documents/Private-Party-Transfer-Form.pdf The only way for me to keep an electronic file of the identification and signature requirements, I would have to fill out the paper form a...

Re: Ignorant question

It shows rifling. I see a slow rate of twist.

Since it is not deformed, I have seen fired bullets that show no deformation when they are shot into snow.

Re: Mexico is back suing US gun manufacturers

The US should sue Mexico for the cost of all the illegal immigrants that cross our border.

Re: Latest "evil gun" article at Star Tribune

I’m sure they will also be running a corresponding article “LIFE OF A CRIMINAL” to follow the lives of all the criminals involved with any of the crimes the gun “caused” them to commit.
