Re: OK, time to get one

I just ordered a Silencerco Omega 9K through Atomic Tactical in Savage. A can that works for both 9mm and 300BLK. Won’t be as quiet as my Recce 7, but shorter and lighter will be nice on my 9” SBR. Previously I used a trust, but the new kiosk system simplifies the process so well I’m submitting as a...

Re: Trouble with my Colt AR

I don’t get why it would only occur after the last round in mag. Unless it has only happened once and a coincidence that debris lodged then. I had a BCG get stuck in the tube, but it was pilot error. I had gone to change buffers and got distracted, forgetting to put in the new spring/buffer. Just li...

Re: MN Gun Owners Caucus donate problem

Okay, I nade the donation via givemn. The problem there was the site search showed a different logo and name so I assumed the firearms saftey program was a different organization.

Are you guys doing Paypal via an iPad? Maybe it’s an IOS issue.

MN Gun Owners Caucus donate problem

Just got the double matching donation email. I click on “donate today” which opens the site. After filling in my info the Visa tab is not live. The PayPal tab just reloads the home page as it has always done in the past. So I go the the other option - givemn.org and register. Search for Minnesota Gu...

Re: "Best" Handgun for Women

Looks like about the same as for men. I carry three of those listed - G19, VP9 and PPS M2. IMO no .380 is a good choice for defense. There are plenty of nines with similar dimensions.

Re: Is Trump thru?

Only if he is losing his will to fight. The left has been screeching for impeachment from before his inauguration. I would be surprised if folks who voted for him were not more even disgusted now with the political correctness of the SJWs these last couple of months. But with his ego, the Donald wil...

Re: Ammo can 3 pack, $6.24!

Helluva deal. I got 4 sets for delivery. They don't sound as heavy duty as US mil cans, but should be fine for long term storage.

I'll never understand why US ammo isn't offered in spam cans. Maybe they also own the dessicant companies.

Re: Is .357 Magnum the most versatile modern caliber?

I guess it depends on what you include in defining versatility. Every caliber has one or more weak spots. .357 comes up short in range, mag capacity and not easily suppressed. .300BLK is not concealable or always readily available. 9mm lacks range and punch for huntong. But I gotta say my 1892 lever...

Re: Hello!

Welcome GM. I'd suggest reading a lot on http://www.m4carbine.net/forum.php about best procedures and who has good vs awful youtube how-tos. And research what specialty tools make the assembly easier. Here are some I consider indespensible: Long bolt-catch pin starter punch Magwell and upper receive...

Re: Where to get a decent quality .223 upper for prairie dogs

The 1/8 BCM SS410 16" is my most accurate AR. They have longer SS barrels, but these are not lightweights and does 50 grain gain much if anything with more length? All SS410 uppers: https://www.bravocompanyusa.com/searchresults.asp?Search=Ss410+upper&Submit= My barrel. Cheaper option availa...

Re: A warning, a gun sale and tragic consequences

I see both the WAPO and STRIB articles as typical examples of Brady Center strategy. Find a sympathetic client who is angry, grieving and/or greedy and a like-minded newspaper to propagandize the news story. Neither is a criminal case. Both have Brady Center lawers arguing in a venue much easier to ...

Re: Airforce Condor SS legal in MN?

While I still think the Condor is cool, I found a smoking deal on a NIB Scorpion Evo pistol with 8 mags that ate my funds. And I already have a can for that.

Airforce Condor SS legal in MN?

This .25 caliber pellet gun looks like a tasty unit. Anyone know the state restrictions? Could I have it mailed right to my door?

Be sure to watch the grand finale at the very end of video.
