I thought I would give a quick update on this old thread. It's been months, and I still haven't gotten a new house. Building a house looks like a more appealing route every day. I came across this the other day: http://www.sportsmansteelsafes.com/safe-room.html Basically the company is selling a mas...
Just buy a few boxes of whatever's cheap at fleet farm, and if you run into trouble buy another brand. You may want to look into aftermarket recoil springs for it. I've heard you can get different ones to help tune the gun to the ammo, but don't know much more about it than that. Sent from my iPhone...
Yupp, less than a week after Primary Arms got the scope I received a new one. So far so good. Sucks when these things break, but glad they made it right. Hopefully this one will last longer.
I have no interest in carrying it loaded, in my car or anywhere else. That's what I have a pistol for (and your comment applies to all rifles, not just SBRs). I absolutely can loan it to a friend, simply by taking 30 seconds to write his name down on the appropriate form in my trust. And selling it...
Update #1 UPS's website says that the primary arms scope was delivered. No word yet, but I wouldn't expect to hear anything for a few more days until they have a chance to look at it. New konus spotting scope came from midwayusa and it is so far perfect! (Knock on wood) big fan of this so I hope it...

Unfortunately, my permit expires in April 2019. So I'm one of the ones that will have to deal with a NICS check for every purchase for the next 2 years. Fortunately I've never had a problem, but it's still kind of a pain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I'm in the same boat. Missed it by that mu...
I thought I would share my experience so far. I purchased the above mentioned primary arms scope about 6 months ago. I mounted it up on an AR-10 using an American defense mfg. one piece mount and have been very happy with the setup until now. I know ar-10's are tough on optics, but all 107 rounds we...
If you just want 1 gun to do it all it isn't a bad choice. But if you are going to buy a rifle and a handgun anyway, you could get a slightly better caliber rifle with more power, and a slightly better pistol in terms of price/capacity/recoil etc. and be better off. All of this depends entirely on y...
