Re: Firearms and children

Pete also suggested using J-hooks or hand railing hangers above the inside of a closet door for a shotgun or SUR (that's sport utility rifle). Once hung and in place you have to enter the closet, turn around and look up above the door to see it. Obviously it wouldn't be all that hidden for a walk in...

Re: More 'Posted' signs popping up

Sadly in the last month I've seen more 'Posted - no weapons allowed' signs popping up around town. Some in restaurants, some churches, some in random haircut salons. Unfortunately one of my favorite home-brew/wine supply shops (it has Midwest in their name) either posted a new sign, or moved it to ...

Re: So far off the deep end....

I live half a mile from Average Joe's. I'd rather drive to Capra's after the last two times I was in Joe's.

Re: Peace rally at State Capital and other ways to help.

I keep that receipt reply letter in my truck. I've only been to the capitol once or twice but been to the MN History Center a few times a year... which happens to be on capitol grounds.

(for the grammar nuts.)

Re: Gun Stop Mtka- TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have not been in the store since they re-opened because - well I’m always in ours... And I can not speak to what happened - However I heard a similar complaint about our own store. I found it shocking because our team never stops moving. Gin is always on every new person. I make an effort to work...

Re: Groupon deals

Living Social did a deal with the brew shop I work at and the boss said "never again." They lost money over and above what they might have gained in new customers and that's not counting the hassle of dealing with the vouchers.

Re: Cleaning out Fleet Farm

Well, if you're a fan of capitalism and Ayn Rand, you really can't object to someone taking advantage of an irrational market. Today, access to capital (money to buy up ammo and resell it) is the way you make money. FWIW, I asked at the Brooklyn Park FF and everything in AR and AK rifles is sold ou...

Re: hi from south mpls!

Homebrew? Did you say homebrew?

Yeah, I think you'll find a lot of cross-interests here. I work very part time at Brew n Grow up in Spring Lake Park.

I tell ya, there's nothing like spending an afternoon on the range then going home and pouring a cold IPA from your keg. mmm

Welcome to the site!

Re: Opinions on Side Guard Holsters

Can I offer an opinion even though I don't have a Double Tuck? No? Skip ahead.

Erik makes quality leather. I own two, the OWB double snap is my go to when I carry owb.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with a Side Guard Holster.
