Black Bullets International

Really getting into this whole reloading thing. What I want to do is come up with one load that I can use in all my .45ACP firearms, a 5” 1911, a Glock and a 1928A1 Thompson, but keep them as low cost as possible. I know I could use FMJ, but trying to go cheaper. The Glock knocks out cast lead and t...

Re: Who did YOU take to the range last week...

Have to say that I really enjoy taking new shooter out to the range. Approached the board of directors out at Gopher camp fire a while back, asking if it would be possible to buy some sort of guest passes for the upcoming year. More new shooters has got to be a good thing. No word yet, but still hop...

Re: Question on using data

Just a quick update, ran off some test rounds and as I worked up I found that 7.0 gr of Power Pistol
gave no signs of high pressure and seemed most like the Federal factory stuff I have been shooting.

Thanks for your help in this matter.

Question on using data

Well I have got my reloading bench all setup and ready to go. I have read the ABC’s of reloading twice and read the Lyman Book of pistol and revolver twice also. But I am still a bit mystified on a certain point. I am planning to load 45ACP using 230 grain FMJ bullets and Alliant Power Pistol. The A...

Bench setup

Finally got the sofa moved down to the Man Cave and started setting up my reloading bench. Been reading all that I should, I know where, what and when I’m buying. Now, this is where you all come in, if you please. I would really like to see photos of your bench setups. I figure that this will be the...

Re: Making my self known

I am not gonna say nice rack. But I like that setup. Did you buy it or build it? Just got it a week ago and only had it out once. I bought it from a guy up in Osakis Mn. http://customsteeltargets.com/ Had him take his normal rack and make it longer and stronger with 1/2" thick, 8" plates....

Making my self known

Hello to all! After spending a very long time abroad, I am now back home in Minnesota. Although new to the board, I am definitely not new to shooting. Learned a long time ago that I learn more by listening and reading than by talking or typing, so don’t expect a huge post count from me. Mostly inter...
