Would like to jump in and suggest that for a first handgun, you really can't beat a .22
Easy to learn the fundamentals on, and as .22 is starting to come back, a lot more shooting time for your money.

Can't make this shoot, but as a heads up for those driving by Glencoe, fleet supply had Federal 50 round and 325 bulk packs for 4 somthing and 20 somthing each. Have a safe shoot.

Was at FF Carver today, had a good few diffrent calibers in brass, but no 220 Swift. Loads of 1000 round bulk packs of Federal 5.56 also.

Just got mine in the post. Seems to be well made and I'm happy with it. Will have to give it a couple of weeks in use and then report on what I think after using it.

Mine on order is for a PPK, Did go for the option of having the leather backer in black so will see what kind of dye transfer I get.
Waiting to see what it is like before I get one for a 1911

Really suprised that this got the OK, not sure how firm the material is, but looks like it would work really well as a shoulder stock.
