Re: Good news from Iowa

That is good news, but it is still not "passed".

Well technically does that not mean it has "passed" it has not been approved into law or vetoed but by the truest definition that verbage would be correct would it not?

Re: Gorsuch is in.

Republicans hold a very slight majority in the senate. The walls could come crashing down in a year. If so,I bet the Older lib judges will resign to get younger liberals to fill their seats. It will be a real mess And by being nice to the libs they are going to take pity on us? and the walls won't ...

Re: Gorsuch is in.

WTF to people want? Should we have let the Dems choose the nominee?

Seriously, they got it done, period, at least they finally accomplished something.

Re: Gorsuch is in.

Right, cause the dems would have respected our position if the roles were reversed. Some people need to wake the eff up

Re: Federal Cartridge Lays Off 100 Workers in Anoka

I guess this would be why they weren't investing in new plants to keep up with the artificial hoarder/flipper demand a few years ago. Ding, ding, ding.... We have a winner. Remember a year and a half ago, when people were lambasting the manufacturers for not doubling/tripling/quadrupling 22lr produ...

Re: Suggestions for new female shooter

RTFM at least twice. My wife did not come with a manual. (Although I did get here second-hand.) Oh it is there. It is in a foreign language and a format that is tough to download but it is there. Pressure signs can be very subtle but watch for them if you do not want a kaboom. Not saying I am an ex...

Re: Suggestions for new female shooter

And I'll chime in with my usual song and dance about just because a guy may have 40 years experience with handguns, that doesn't even mean AS MUCH as diddly squat when it comes to picking a gun for a girlfriend/wife!! I even have a standard bet of $50 to any guy who can prove he knows what she want...

Re: New to the AR, newish to rifles in general, where to shoot?

OGC from what I understand is quite busy and requires volunteer hours. These are big turn offs for me. It is a nice range though. Most times during non-public hours I am either alone on a range or with only one or two other shooters. It is as busy as other ranges during public hours. Public hours e...

Re: Recommendation on a good NFA engraver?

I use Orion but they are a pain. Striped, shipped only, costly. Ran into a booth at the MWCA show where you can drop off in new brighton. Industrial engraving. Sounded cheaper too. Will try them next time.

Re: Recommendations for quick takedown barrel?

Faster than 2 pins? Please. I've only field stripped a couple of hundred ARs, so my limited sample may be unrepresentative, but I've noticed more than a few with sticky pins. Back when I was a unit armorer (A Co., 1st Engineers) I usually used the charging handle as a hammer to free the front pin. ...

Re: Recommendations for quick takedown barrel?

Dolos seems to be the one I hear about most. I do not have experience though. What is the appeal of a quick takedown barrel on a gun where you can take the receivers apart? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk QRBs are faster to take apart and put together, and make for a much shorter package. http&#...
