Re: What's it worth??

I would say about $375 is what you "could" get for it in the current market. Who imported this? Is there an import marking on it? The date marking and matching serial number is great, but SKS collector would already own something similar and new SKS collectors are hard to find at that pri...

Re: What's it worth??

Just trying to get a somewhat accurate value just in case I decide to send it down the road. I've got 2 guns on my list I would like to get before spring. Due to the crappy economy and the fact the we are having a kid this January, buying guns outright might be off the shelf for a while. This is one...

What's it worth??

Just wanted to get some feedback on what you think this is worth. Sorry no pics as I find putting pics up on forums to be a pain in the a**, but the guys that know these weapons won't need them. That said I'm sure someone will hang the nifty little "This thread is worthless without pics" b...

Re: Crappy Sightron Scopes

Own 4 Sightron's myself and will say for the money they are damn hard to top. Never had a problem with maintaining zero or returning to zero after dialing in elevation and windage for long range shots. They also have a lifetime unconditional warranty so I'm sure they will take care of you if you got...

Re: are winchester sp primers harder than most?

In my experience. Yes they are. I loaded 200 rounds with them because that was all that was available a while back durring the big component shortage. Had the same result as you with my HK USP .40, except worse. It would fail to fire about 1 out 10 on the first strike, but they would always go on t...

Re: Fire at SCAPSA Range

This is a damn shame :( . I was out there for the second Ruger Rimfire state match for the first time and it's a great range. Bob and the rest of the crew do a great job out there. The crew from Morris wishes you the best of luck with the repairs.

Re: Which is The Better Finish ??

I can say first hand the finnish on my XDmC .40 has been tough as nails. I thought I'd scratched the hell out of it the 2nd day I owned it. I was carrying it in the factory XD holster. Had my "never leave home without" it Buck Rush pocket knife clipped in my front right pants pocket. Combi...

Re: Nube from the sticks here

Welcome. I heard a bit about your first 3-gun match, sounded like fun. Count me in as interested. Thanks. Yea I think we had a pretty good course of fire set up, too bad nobody came. Even quite a few that came didn't want to shoot. We probably had 15 spectators, but only 3 people including myself a...

Re: Nube from the sticks here

Welcome shooter115---I'm over in Alexandria. I used to do a lot of pheasant hunting over your way, but now the birds are just as thick over here. Good to hear there are a few westerners here. I actually moved to Morris from Alex about 10 years ago. At least here, the pheasant hunting may be a bit f...
