Possible Scammer on mnguntalk

I have a WTB up on the classified section. I was contacted by "stonegraham", a new user yesterday about his friend who may have the gun. I am a member at watchuseek website and this is a common scammer tactic targeting people looking for specific watches. I have included both screen shots.

Re: Geissele SSA-E Issues

Your lower may have a screw coming in from the grip. This is a common method to reduce reset distance. If you screw in too much into the trigger group, it causes the problem you are describing.

Re: Looking for a good 22LR pistol

Taurus tx22, Ruger sr22, Ruger mk4.

These are the pistols that functioned well with standard ammo. Especially suppressed.

Re: Best way to utize bench space? A perfect layout?

I have two presses. I use one at the left end for decapping, sizing and priming. I use the one in the middle of the bench for the rest. Having one of the press at the end is convenient for working with buckets of brass. I have a powder measure at the far right.

Re: PTC renewal

OGC and DCGC does not allow any training during the shutdown.

Couple of members shooting at the range is allowed. Since both are members and observing social distancing.

Dakota county permit office recommended calling the list of approved instructors online.

Re: PTC renewal

Some of the instructors are holding the classroom online and shooting at the range.

Tom "Tusi" at OGC is in the process of doing online classes.

Only problem is Gun clubs are open to the members only.

Re: Entry Level Semi-Auto Shotgun?

Did anyone mention the FN SLP listed here for$800? I have one and it's pretty sweet shooting auto loader. Pretty reliable so far and low recoil even with buckshot.

Character of people in general

I was browsing the Armslist today and came across couple of listings selling Bumpfire stocks. This left bad taste in my mouth. My experience with shooting community for past 37 years have been nothing but meeting honest, decent people. Selling something that will be illegal in a few months seems wro...

Re: Where to buy Rockset in the twin cities?

I'm in Eagan. If you bring a small container by, I can let you have some.

However, I believe rockset is common in the craft stores. Little research on Google will show that it's basically same as glue used for crafting rocks and glass.
