Re: Mobile shooting gallery

Anyone remember the .22 shooting gallery they had at the State Fair many years ago? It used to be next to the giant slide (or close by) and they used Remington model 552 Speedmasters.

Re: Ammo age

I still have a couple boxes of .357 mag with the Target price sticker on the side. Bought them in the late 70's I think. They were still selling guns back then too. I actually bought my first shotgun, a Remington 870 Wingmaster, at K-mart. A Wingmaster with the real walnut stock, not the Express mod...

Re: New Products From Hornady for 2017

For a .375 win, consider cast bullets as well. It's not a particularly demanding platform as far as bullet integrity, and once you buy the mound, you are good to go. .38-55 brass and cast loads for plinking would not be too bad. I hear you about finding some of the oddball stuff though. Strangely, ...

Re: Which AR? Olympic or Alex Pro?

Kinda off topic....what is "tolerance stacking"? Sorry, I never heard the term.

Re: New Products From Hornady for 2017

Okay, Snakeman, what is the parent case for the 375 round?? If the bullet company made a brand new case just to give them a monopoly and screw the customer, you could be S.O.L. :x :x It wouldn't hurt, however, to look through your reloading manual and see if there isn't something with the same RIM ...

Re: New Products From Hornady for 2017

Thanks Sam, I already have all the equipment for reloading and the dies too. The problem is componets. .375 Winchester brass is as scarce as loaded rounds and I've seen bags of 50 cases go for $150 on Gunbrokers. So, yeah, $3 a case. Also, the load requires a flat or round nose bullet. I've found on...

Re: League of Women Voters - Guns: The Issues

The more I watch this presidential season and the more I listen to "progressives" talk about their "views"...the more I think that they are very seriously mentally ill! I can absolutely assure you that they think the same (or worse) of us. Just because someone disagrees with you...

Re: Bloomington planning commission

Bloomington started this a long time ago with what they call " the pawn shop ordinance" that prohibits the display of used guns for sale. If you have the time and interest search the Bloomington City Code for all the ways they restrict firearms, air guns, archery and similar items. Kinda ...

Re: League of Women Voters - Guns: The Issues

Thank you Bryan, for all of your tireless and righteous work. Your sacrifices help every Minnesota citizen, whether they know it or not. The only thing the above video did for me was "harden my heart" and reinforce my abject hatred for those who advocate the denial of my God given rights....

Re: NJ Student Suspended for “Anti-Gun-Control” Project

It's New Jersey, which, in my opinion, is more anti gun crazy than California! Kid's family should sue the school!

Re: Savage model 99 magazine

Try Gunbrokers. They have a lot of odd stuff up for bid. I found a tubular magazine follower for an old Savage Model 6 .22 rifle on their site.

Re: New Products From Hornady for 2017

Interesting ideas, including the dual head screwdriver thingy. Unfortunately, they are having problems making a lot of the less popular bullets - due to capacity and time to change over machines. I hope they add machines so that the bullet supply reappears and (jokingly) the price drops a bit. Not ...
