Re: Shootout in gun store over $25 repair fee

over $25. Someone needed to know how to let go. Maybe the owners should have just said forgot the $25. Leave our store and don't come back. Seems to me like the best way to handle that situation.

Re: Background check scheme and motivation for it, EXPOSED

From what I understand, you don't need to become a FFL to sell one or two of your guns. Just transfer then through someone who already is a FFL. Or am I missing something?

Re: If you want to get a Hicap 45 semi-auto, now is the time!!

I read this post and was really tempted to get this .45, but I really wanted a 9mm. So I looked closely at the K2P. Lots of good reviews. I may just find one at the bottom of the lake while ice fishing. But of course will promptly lose it in a boating accident this summer. ;-) Thanks for the idea an...

Re: shtf? MOA attack?

I'm waiting until the Bloomington Port Authority gets brought up. They own the land the Mall is built on. Is that true, they actually own the land? I thought they were simply involved in promoting commerce, taxing, permitting, etc. Do you have a cite that they actually own the land? I don't think t...

Re: Councilman defends collleagues against shooter

Actually he says that very thing in the video you posted. The TV crew simply pulled the audio fader down on the mixer. Then the sound goes away. That's all. no conspiracy. What would you expect him to say in that situation? EDIT: unless you mean the bleep. That was someone saying a swear word...

Re: Movie: American Sniper

They kind of made it a point to show him set the gun on a shelf in the kitchen before going to say goodbye to his kids and heading to the range. Part of me thought were they kind of suggesting he forgot it that day and if he would have had it, maybe he could have defended himself? But I find that fa...

Movie: American Sniper

Did anyone see this movie American Sniper? We did on Saturday and I liked it very much. But I think the thing that made me go numb was at the end when the actor portraying Chris Kyle walks through his house with what sure looks like a real revolver and enters the kitchen and aims the gun at his wife...

Re: Another Strib "Arsenal"

I hate it too, but...
From merriam-webster.com

ar·se·nal noun \ˈärs-nəl, ˈär-sə-\

: a collection of weapons

: a place where weapons are made or stored

: a group of things or people that are available to be used

So the term is technically correct like it or not.
