Re: 3-gun training idea

PRS, I was hoping to get a chance to chat with you a bit at the class. The class turned out far better than I thought it would. I was hoping for five or six people to show, and then the weather turned bad and I was thinking no one would make it. I didn't take into consideration the hearty spirit of ...

Re: 3-gun training idea

Thanks to everyone for showing up. Who would have thought over 20 shooters would show up for a dryfire class on a day like that. It was very nice to meet everyone, you once again bring out the point that its the people of 3-gun that make this sport so special. Thanks to Arnzen Arms for being such a ...

Re: Semi-Auto Shotgun - tube in stock

Benelli Vinci. Bolt carrier and recoil sping set up is all in the receiver. Give the butt stock a twist and it pops right off.

Re: 3-gun training idea

LumberZach, Sorry for the long response time, I was away from the computer. Nathan is correct, we are looking at around 4 hr. time span for the class. This will depend a lot on the number of students etc.. I will have 3 different shotguns set up for 3-gun with Nordic Components tubes, a Benelli M2, ...

Re: 3-gun training idea

BD You are more than welcome to come. Take part in as much of the class as you wish, if you don't feel up to something, not a problem to just sit out and watch. This class is really about breaking things down to the basic fundamentals, and how to practice those fundamentals starting slow, then speed...

Re: 3-gun training idea

Just another quick update. This training will take place at Arnzen Arms in Eden Prairie. They are graciously allowing the use of their facility. The training will be sponsored by Concealed Defense LLC and I will be heading up the training. A date will be set as soon as we get an open Sunday after SH...

Re: 3-gun training idea

I have had a great response thus far. Thanks for the messages. I will keep everyone informed as to the date, time, and location of this training. I am still looking for someone to load up some dummy rounds for the shotgun, factory made dummy rounds have gotten almost impossible to find and are extre...

3-gun training idea

OK here is an idea I have been tossing around in my head and it actually stopped in one place long enough for me to get to writing it down. In MN we tend to have a long winter with temps low enough (-20 degrees yesterday) to keep us inside the house and away from gun ranges. For years I have taken t...

Re: 2014 "4th Annual" Nordic Comp Tactical Shotgun Championship

Ron,

After last years Nordic Shotgun Match I heard back from some of the best shooters in the world. They all stated that your tube targets were the best shotgun targets they had seen to date. Good job on those. You might want to get a bunch more if possible.

They are on the run

Lots of deer being hit by cars in my area. Last night a buck was chasing a doe around my horse pastures. She didn't seem fond of the attention just yet.

Re: What to do this winter.....

Hopefully MN3GunGroup will get anxious and have a couple winter 3-gun matches. Otherwise dryfire is a good way to keep skills tuned up. Varmit hunting on snowshoes is fun if you have the property or permission from people that do.

Re: Are you ready for Deer Opener?

Stands are ready, another blind will go up once the farmer gets his beans out. The Alaknak II tent will go up the Wed. before the season and I have the stove wood cut already. I hunt only 3 miles from my house but my son's like to keep the tenting tradition going, even though the oldest just turned ...
